Lack of grip on leg hemline leads to legs creeping up

    2017/04/10 | OR |

I have big legs and hips so this may not apply to all, but the legs would not stay in place. As I ran, the legs would creep up and become uncomfortable. Competitor's products that I've been happy with have used a little bit of "grippy" substance on the inside of the leg hemline and that has helped "stick" the legs down in place. These don't have anything like that and constantly rode up my legs. Returned because of that.

I wear them all the time for short and long run -- so often, they've impressed me with their durability. These were my first Brooks buy, and they're what made me a loyalist. Smooth, comfortable, light, and I love the subtle compression. Only quibble: I'm petite -- 5'2" -- and I wish the shorts were maybe an inch or so shorter.

I wear them all the time

I wear these all the time on short and long runs, and they are perfect. I'm impressed with their durability given how much use I give them. Light, smooth, and I love the subtle compression. These shorts were my first buy from Brooks, and they're what made me a loyalist. Only quibble: I'm petite, about 5/2", and I wish the shorts were maybe an inch or so shorter.

Bought these for running. They were not one bit comfortable. I had to pull them down the entire run, I kept asking my husband if he could see a front wedgie, or it just felt like that. I'll go back to my other brand spandex.

    Will Not Stay Put

    2016/04/25 | Madison, AL |

I was really excited to try these shorts. I don't typically wear shorts to run in because my inner thighs are the kind that make shorts ride up in the front. I thought these shorts would be the answer. I was wrong. The material is fantastic - lightweight, wicking, smoothing! I wore them out for a 4 mile run and the first few steps I took the legs immediately began riding up. They didn't ride up in the inner part, just completely all over. The elastic in the legs is not substantial enough to keep them in place. They were completely wedged up my rear end, and I had to stop my run countless times to readjust. However, they will stay in place just walking and are comfortable to wear for that, but if you want them to run in, you should reconsider.
