Additional Information

Every lace and stitch of the all-new Glycerin 12 running shoe goes above and beyond the standards of comfort. This neutral running shoe for women was inspired by the clouds and designed to feel like running in a meadow toward the one you love. New Super DNA provides 20% more cushioning than BioMoGo DNA, while Ideal Pressure Zones in the outsole optimize pressure distribution from heel to forefoot. And the upper? A conformable saddle wraps the foot, while 3D Fit Print creates a custom fit without adding weight. At just 9.1 ounces, the Glycerin 12 is lighter than ever, but full of new technologies to elevate your run.

I have bought every version of Glycerins since the 4s and loved all of them...until the 12. The 12s have undergone a major redesign and I find that they're just not as supportive in the spots I need. As someone who has back and hip issues, I have always loved Glycerins for their arch support. It seems like they've taken that material that provided the arch support and spread it out across the shoe, instead of just putting it in the arch. While that sounds great on paper and it does make the shoe lighter, it also seems to make it a little less stable and less supportive. I'm sure it's a fantastic shoe for others, but I don't think the 12s are for me.

I love my Glycerine 11. Brooks has really catered to each foot type. I wore the Ariel's until I recently received custom made orthotics that correct my over pronation. I was told to buy Brooks Glycerine because they are a neutral shoe. The Glycerine 12 is not neutral. It is for over-pronators.

I wear them everyday all day. My feet were hurting from standing up so much before i got this brand. Now they do not hurt anymore. I've tried the 10, 11 and now the 12 in the same name and type shoe. I love BROOKS!!!!!

Cursed with narrow feet, I have always worn the Glycerins because they fit my hotdog feet better than most shoes do, however, I never had much to rave about besides the narrow fit...until now! The Glycerins of years past felt cushy, chunky, and a little bit too heavy, they were the type of shoes a Barrower-sized person would want to curl up in and watch hours of Netflix. Not exactly a fast shoe. But it seems that the Glycerin 12 has gone on a month-long-juice-only-cleanse and has emerged a lighter, leaner, and dare I say, faster shoe. Friends of Glycerins Past, do not be alarmed by the shoe's sexy make-over, spend a few hours with her and you'll find that she is still the durable, comfortable, dependable shoe you first fell in love with.

I work in a hospital and do 2-3 miles of walking each work day. I also am a supernator (serious under-pronator)with scarring from a ruptured plantar fascia. These shoes are very good at stabilizing the rolling of my feet to the outside. The fit is good. They provide adequate arch support, but I could probably use more. However, overall, they allow me to do all that walking without having aching feet in the end of a 12-hr shift. I also like the color choices for this shoe. Mine are the navy.

This is my 4th pair of Brooks running shoes. These are the most comfortable yet! I've had some ankle and knee pain and as soon as I put these shoes on I don't notice the pain anymore. Talk about good cushioning!
