Additional Information

Every lace and stitch of the all-new Glycerin 12 running shoe goes above and beyond the standards of comfort. This neutral running shoe for men was inspired by the clouds and designed to feel like running in a meadow toward the one you love. Or maybe just out for a post-run pint. New Super DNA provides 20% more cushioning than BioMoGo DNA, while Ideal Pressure Zones in the outsole optimize pressure distribution from heel to forefoot. And the upper? A conformable saddle wraps the foot, while 3D Fit Print creates a custom fit without adding weight. At just 10.9 ounces, the Glycerin 12 is lighter than ever, but full of new technologies to elevate your run.

I have been buying Glycerin shoes for a few years (10 and 11). I typically run between 6-16 miles. I received this model recently and was surprised that the tops my big toes were getting sore at the end of my 8 mile runs. From looking at the fit, it seems like this model (or my particular shoes) are a bit smaller than previous models. Also, I noticed that the material in this model is more rugged, but might make them a bit stiffer (although this does not seem to be a problem).

I'm a big guy (6'3, 225) putting in between 25-40 miles per week, and I'm 40. My knees don't appreciate my activity level, but they do appreciate my new shoes. The soft landing helps me find a less 'pounding' rhythm when running. And they look cool.

I previously owned the Glycerin 10 and 11 and this shoe is thus far an improvement on both. The fit is near perfect if not perfect and the shoes are comforatable on any 3+ mile run.
