Additional Information

Think of the Glycerin 11 as your foot's butler, catering to your every want and need with plush, conformable comfort in every step. The luxury begins with an ultra-comformable upper that uses innovative 3D Fit Print overlays to create structure and reduce weight. We've also removed the midfoot shank to optimize ground contact for a transition that puts the "oo" in smooth. Finished with fresh colors and hot looks, Mr. Belvedere's got nothing on this shoe.

I love this shoe! I am in love with the PureProject line, but I wanted something with a little more cushion for those super long marathon training runs. I was surprised at how light this shoe is for how much cushioning is involved. They are also a really smooth and quiet shoe. It just comfortable all around! I love these shoes so much I convinced my husband to get a pair as well.

I run marathons (sub 4) and half marathons (sub 2). I was a huge fan of the Glycerin 10. When the Glycerin 11 came out, I tried it out and it just fell flat. It does not have the same supportive feel of the 10s because the midfoot shank was removed. Unfortunately, in removing this part, they also removed the responsiveness of the shoe and it feels like you are running on dough. This change caused me to buy every last Glycerin 10 on the market and also try out the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 3, which is more similar to the Glycerin 10. Hopefully, they will reintroduce support in the Glycerin 12 model before I swear Brooks off forever.

Great pair of sneakers for the gym. They don't offer the same arch support as the Adrenaline GTS 14, but they're nicely cushioned and very comfortable.

The Glycerin 11 is 100% worth it! I'm constantly working on improving the quality of my stride and posture as I work out, and the Glycerin is very helpful with foot position and efficiency. I average 50 miles a week, and change shoes at 350 miles religiously because they are done- really done- after that point. Also, I like to use superfeet as an insole because Brooks' are a little on the flimsy side.
However, on the whole- the Glycerin 11 is my favorite running shoe ever. They aren't kidding in the description when they say that it's the best ride and does it all, so maybe spoiled rotten isn't the best description, but I'm definitely a shoe snob now...

I am an avid runner and have already ran myself out of my last pair of Brooks. I love this shoe so I'm buying the exact same pair but in a different color. Can't wait to receive them in the mail and run in them :-D
I would definitely recommend this shoe to everyone who is looking for new shoes and have!!

Love the Glycerin, but in order for me to run in the 11's, I switched the inserts from another pair of shoes and they feel fine now. The inserts in the 11's are too thin for my foot. I'm probably one of the few who do not like the feel of the road under my feet.

….ok, so having read all the marvellous reviews for this super-cushioned shoe, I went ahead and purchased them from the internet, (Brooks isn`t available in Greece where I live unfortunately)….The shoes arrived, the sizing was perfect and I was really looking forward to my first run with them….20 mins later, I stopped my running with pain in my knees, arches and ankles……my other running shoes are Asics` Kinsei and Nike`s Vomero 8, the 2nd being my favorite.

Glycerin 11 are clunky, uncomfortable and I`m still wondering where that plush, wonderful cushioning is, you know, the one that everybody is writing about !!! What a waste of my hard-earned money….
