Additional Information

The Ghost 7 is a triple threat of balance, cushion, and lightweight materials. Hitting the sweet spot for millions of runners, this neutral running shoe for women gives you the stuff to kick back for miles on end, or lean in and pick up the pace. We’ve maintained the horseshoe-shaped crash pad, full ground contact, and omega grooves in the forefoot for the super-smooth heel-to-toe transition runners love. We’ve improved the multi-award-winning Ghost by making it smoother and lighter. BioMoGo DNA in the midsole offers adaptive cushioning while staying more flexible. Bigger lugs in the forefoot make the Ghost feel more responsive as you run. And the look? More modern while remaining technical, thanks to the Ghost’s signature color-shift chevron and no-sew overlays. The Ghost may scare off the competition, but it’s plenty friendly to your feet.

I wore the Ghost 4 and 5 for my first half and full marathon training- loved them. I took a detour to the Gylcerin 10 for my second marathon, because I wanted more support. Those were too heavy and I noticed my form changed, so I went back to the Ghost 7 on a whim. The shoes didn't require any breaking in, and they were completely comfortable onmy first 8 miler. They were more lightweight, which I appreciated - and the support was perfect. I'm a fan - I'll probably buy another pair right away!

Don't mistake me: this is a very good shoe. I started training in these a bit less than a month ago, alternating with my old shoes to avoid blisters (an unnecessary precaution since these are a great fit - no chafing or rubbing anywhere, lovely and light).
However: even though I have hardly trained with them yet, the lining around the ankles is already worn through. I have never had that problem on my previous shoe. I cannot believe after 6 or seven shortish (between 5 and 20k) runsthe lining should already be giving way.

This is my first running shoe that does not stand friction. Taking it back to the store tomorrow. A real pity, apart from that, I loved these shoes

I just switched to the Ghost 7 from the Asics Gel Nimbus. While I loved the Nimbus, I heard great things about the Ghost and, after my second half marathon, wanted to try something new. Once I tried them on I instantly knew they were the right shoe for me. They are SO light and comfortable on your feet. I also have a wider foot and these were a great fit without having to get the wide-width size. The toe box was wide enough where my toes are comfortable.

I've only worn them for a few runs, but I felt great in them. They are still supportive and have enough cushion while not being "too soft". I am definitely a convert and will stick with these shoes for a while! Love them!!

I am a Supinator and I frequently experience foot pain but with the Ghost 7 my foot pain and discomfort has decreased significantly. The Ghost 7 sneakers have a very comfortable fit, flexible but secure and I like the colors (I have them in "Slvr/MulbryPrpl/PoolGrn").

I am really impresed by this shoes, I've owned a pair of Brooks in the past and I wanted to try a new brand, so I did, and they destroyed my toenails at the first half marathon I ran on them. So I decided to go back to Brooks in a heart beat. I got my Brooks Ghost 7 and it feels like wearing a glove on my feet, I absolute love them. I own the Cascadia 9 too, I don't think I will ever try another brand, I am sold for life...

Having gone through two pairs of the Ghost 6 recently for marathon training, I was hooked. When the Ghost 7 arrived, I was excited to give them a try. But the Ghost 7 quickly disappointed. The Ghost 7 provided a smooth, quite ride similar to its predecessor, but the toe box was changed to a more narrow fit, leaving my already narrow feet blistered after daily runs. This is something I've never experienced in my 16+ years of running. Similar to the Ghost 6, the Ghost 7 mid foot sole wore out VERY quickly, and I found myself replacing the Chost 7 prematurely to avoid the pains associated with worn out shoes. ($$$) Also, the laces of the Ghost 7 were short and I ended up replacing the Ghost 7 laces with my mismatched Ghost 6 laces. I'll be scavenging the sale racks for any remaining Ghost 6's….
