Additional Information

The Ghost 7 is a triple threat of balance, cushion, and lightweight materials. Hitting the sweet spot for millions of runners, this neutral running shoe for women gives you the stuff to kick back for miles on end, or lean in and pick up the pace. We’ve maintained the horseshoe-shaped crash pad, full ground contact, and omega grooves in the forefoot for the super-smooth heel-to-toe transition runners love. We’ve improved the multi-award-winning Ghost by making it smoother and lighter. BioMoGo DNA in the midsole offers adaptive cushioning while staying more flexible. Bigger lugs in the forefoot make the Ghost feel more responsive as you run. And the look? More modern while remaining technical, thanks to the Ghost’s signature color-shift chevron and no-sew overlays. The Ghost may scare off the competition, but it’s plenty friendly to your feet.

I strayed away from the Ghost for a bit, mostly due to a "floppy" forefoot feeling and not digging the old colors. However, I am so happy with the new fit and colors! I have run in these shoes on the road and on trails, and the Ghost ran well on both surfaces, through mud, and on very hot roads. So pleased!

I have been a committed Asics buyer for years, but a friend told me about the Brooks shoes so I tried them last year. I am a convert! They are fantastic. The fit is amazing, lightweight and the are very very durable. Cannot say enough about this shoe- use is for walking, and in the gym.

          Finally, a pain-free run

I am a heel-striker with high arches, and I always seem to have knee and hip pain during and after running. Lately it's been getting worse, so I did extensive research to find the best sneakers for my particulars, and finally settled on the Ghost 7. Running in these sneakers has been AWESOME - very little knee and hip pain, less than I've had in years. And they're lightweight, not heavy like you might expect with the thicker soles. I waited until I ran both on the road and on the treadmill to post this review, I ran longer than usual both times because it was such a pleasure. Highly recommended, thank you Brooks!

              Bring Back Ghost 6

I loved Ghost 6 and was excited to see an update. Unfortunately, my new Ghost 7 leave me wanting my Ghost 6 back. Something changed in the toe box. The Ghost 7 gave me a blister. In over a decade of running, I've never had even one blister. I loved the Ghost 6 and will go back to them until I can find something else. So disappointed.

I run and these shoes have been great for cushion and support. They are not great in wet conditions.
