Living in Alaska I need a shoe that would keep my feet dry in the rain, slush and snow. I have been able to use the shoe in the rain and my feet remained dry. We will see what this winter and next spring bring. The only con with this shoe is when I tighten the laces the material at the bottom of the laces scrunches up. The foot bed of the shoe fits fine, just a little too much material on top of the toe. I would say these shoes are more support than neutral and it seems Brooks shoes I have to wear a half size larger than what I normally wear.

I wanted something to keep my feet dry and warmer in the rainy season. These are okay but feel much tighter toe-box than my Glycerins. I have narrow heels and wide toes - so it's hard to find a good fit.

OTOH - the arch seems okay -even for my high arches.

      Comments about Ghost 6 GTX:

This is my 3rd pair. I use the newest ones for workouts and then move the old ones to everyday use. I've used them in the gym, on the road and on the trail -- instead of my hiking boots. I am really hard on shoes and these seem to work a little longer than my average pair. I also have a lot of foot problems and these cushion so I am not uncomfortable.

I absolutely love these shoes! Not only are they comfortable and support my feet well, but they also keep them dry while doing outside walking/running. Many times during winter I would slip these on to go outside because they're the best shoes I have found to keep water out. Anyone who lives somewhere with frequent wet conditions or does outdoor running in wet conditions needs to own a pair of these shoes!

          Comments about Ghost 6 GTX:

I use the product running on the blacktop roads near my home. They are working great. Right now in my location we are on the cusp of winter/spring,the snow is starting to melt and I run through snow/ice/slush/puddles and my feet are dry and warm. They also have excellent traction and I feel that my form is better since running in them.
The best part is they feel apart of my feet unlike any other shoe I have ever worn. They are just very comfortable and strong.
I would like people to know that ordered them in a half size larger after reading they run a half size small. I was not sure if it was not too much toe room (that is where you feel the extra room) but my feet do not slide what so ever. I have run on them six times since receiving them and have not had any problems. Even the shoe laces stay tied in a secure way!

          Comments about Ghost 6 GTX:

I recently moved from FL to the UK so I switched to the Ghost with the Gortex liner in an attempt to keep my feet dry. I'm super disappointed. I just went for my first run in the rain and my feet are soaked. For the first 15 minutes I was impressed, then I started to feel my toes getting wet. Great shoe except for the fact they didn't keep my feet dry as advertised. If you are buying these to keep your feet dry look somewhere else.
