Bring Back the Dyad 8s! Please!!!

I LOVED my Dyad 8s! They were a substantial, cushiony shoe, with great support, that wore, and wore, and wore. No breaking in necessary. Being a newbie, I didn't know the veteran's tip of buying multiple pairs if you find the perfect fit & other attributes. Ordered the Dyad 9s and tried them on yesterday. :( It was uncomfortable just standing in them, and more so doing a few down-and-backs in the length of the running store. I Returned them on the spot in the store & had the sales associate order Ghost 10s. The Ghosts felt marvelous on, and even better once I started moving. Mileage will tell if they hold up as well as Dyad 8s. They are a lighter-weight shoe, so the level of support might be a bit different. If they continue to wear well, will definitely get a 2nd pair! *Note: Ghosts have a wider toe box, so those with wide feet might be able to try on & wear a Normal width. Read More

My foot and ankle doctor recommended the Brooks Dyad and I started in the Dyad 8 a couple of years ago. They were fantastic, and I bought 2 more pairs while I could find them. They are very supportive and have great cushioning. I bought the Dyad 9. I do like the gray color instead of the Dyad 8 colors BUT Brooks has really gone down with this shoe. It seems like they have tried to cut costs by leaving out all the cushion and they did something with the sole so that it hurts my feet instead of feeling great. Please go back to the older design. Some of us really need the older style of the Dyad 8. Read More

This is my 3rd pair of Dyad's. I started with the Dyad 7 which were great, and on to Dyad 8 which were ok, and now I have the Dyad 9 which are very uncomfortable due to the fact that my 2E wide are not that wide at all. The toe box is way smaller! Also, I've yet to get a pair that the left toe doesn't end up in a tear. Very disappointed! ☹️ Read More

10 Questions

Will you be offering another color in a wide width womens Dyad 9 any time soon?

2016/12/18 Dallas Kate

This is the only color we will be offering in the Dyad 9 at this time!

Are these more flexible than the Dyad 8? With orthotics, I need cushioning, but lots of solid support, but the description of these sounds like they will be more flexible than the last model. How do they compare?

2016/11/15 KY KCD446

These are more flexible than the Dyad 8.

Why did my arch insert not sit flat in the new Dyad? They worked fine in the Dyad 8 . I cannot wear the new ones if the inserts don't sit flat

2016/10/08 Heidi

Not all custom orthotics fit in our shoes. To help correct that, you could potentially go up a half size to see if it fits better.

I am replacing Dyad 8. Someone mentioned the toe box is not as big on the Dyad 9. Is this true?

2016/10/07 Illinois Marcia

The Dyad 9 toe box is a bit wider than the toebox in the Dyad 8.

Do these not come in size 12?

2016/10/05 Boston, MA Val

At this time, we are just out of stock in that size. But we should get restocked here soon!
