$99.99 $99.99 - $139.99

Style #110224

Originally released in 1993, the Beast 1 is the first modern-day shoe to be reintroduced in the Heritage Collection. Responding to the demand for a durable and supportive shoe, the Beast quickly became the king of the jungle – and the running industry.

To celebrate its historical relevance, we are reintroducing two original colorways, complete with a pebbled leather and mesh upper combination; unique two-color lugged outsole; a molded TPU heel counter and logo; and a distinctive z-toe to give you a dose of nostalgia.

Please note: The Beast 1 pays tribute to its original design, but this modern refresh is not a performance running shoe. If you're looking for our most supportive, maximum stability shoe, you're better off with the Beast '14 running shoe.

Nice shoe, but some of the colors: meh

I have a couple of these, and they're well-made shoes. My only problem is with the black/silver/greenish (color 072). Nothing to do with function: they just look 'off'. You can't tell from the pictures on the web site, but the light green logo is shot through with splotches of black where you can see the black shoe underneath it (see pic). Maybe they were trying for a kind of cyber-punkish thing, but it just looks...wrong to me. So: nice shoe, some cosmetic issues.

    Yes, I would recommend this!
