Additional Information

Fresh out of charm school, the newest Adrenaline is smoother and smarter than any other. This time we amped up the velvety goodness of the Segmented Crash Pad by adding full ground contact for a crazy nice heel-to-toe transition. Brooks DNA provides adaptable cushioning so your feet will glide through every turn. Heading upstairs, new lacing design evens out lace pressure to create a snug fit, and 3D Fit Print adds a lightweight, flexible, no-stitch fit. With fresh looks and lines, this go-to shoe is ready to fly. The creme de la creme of support, cushion, and balance is the Adrenaline GTS 14.

But don’t take our word for it: Runner’s World Magazine named the Adrenaline GTS 14 "Editor’s Choice" in the Winter Shoe Guide in their December 2013 issue, saying the shoe "boasts all the trappings of a traditional stability model, but rides as smooth as ever.” The editors also praised the GTS’s cushioning, saying it "hits the sweet spot" and is "soft enough for high-mileage training but firm enough to remain stable."

I love these shoes!!! I am an avid runner, I run half and full marathons and I also run cross country for my school. In addition, I attend spin class once a week, and lift weights three to four times a week, and these shoes are perfect for them all! I suffer from severe pronation, that has led to stress fractures, and these shoes help immensely with that! They are the only shoe that I have found that is enough support to help with my pronation, but that does not give me painful blisters! Like I said above, I have suffered from stress fractures due to running, and my doctor said that because of my over pronation, I am prone to get more stress fractures, and as long as I have had these shoes, I have not had any problems!! Fingers crossed! These shoes are also very sturdy, and after 500 miles, the soles still look very good and stable! I am on my 5th or 6th pair of Brooks Adrenaline, and I love them! I wear them with cheap arch supports that I bought at the drug store that I have been using for about 4 years, along with nice, thick running socks, and I am so pleased. Not to get too off topic, but I have found that good, quality, thick running socks are sometimes just as important as good running shoes. I definitely recommend investing in good running socks. Anyways, I absolutely love these shoes, and have no complaints. I run both on trails, road, and treadmills, and they are perfect for all surfaces. These shoes are great for speed workouts and distance runs. My only complaint, is that there are other shoes significantly cuter than these, but I can't really complain because these shoes have kept my running and healthy! As long as Brooks stays the same, or improves, I will always buy Brooks Adrenaline! I am so impressed! Many of my teammates and fellow runners swear by these shoes also!

While I decided to keep this shoe, I have to say that I am sorely disappointed in the changes Brooks has been making. First, the color selection has become more and more gaudy each year. I used to have a pair of silver and white Adrenalines that had dark purple and pink ACCENTS rather than being covered in garish colors that look like a shoe for teens. I also have noticed that the quality is going downhill fast, as the mesh does not feel or look durable and there are no longer holes for the laces. REALLY??? You had to go and put a cheap piece of polyester or nylon tape in place of the lace holes???!! I am seriously considering looking into another brand of running shoes if things do not change here.

      Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

These shoes are tricky. I love them and loathe them at the same time. My local running store always matched me with a neutral shoe and Super Feet inserts. I had a wonderful experience with the Ghost 5 and Super Feet insert. I had a difficult time finding a replacement when they discontinued the Ghost 5 (the toe box on the Ghost 6 and now 7 are too narrow for me). Behold the Adrenaline GTS 14! I found these to be very similar to my Ghost 5 and I didn't need the Super Feet because it already had support built into the shoe. I purchased the teal/yellow color and had no problems. I was able to run for miles right out of the box. I never had any blisters. Six months later and it was already time to replace them. I purchased the pink/white/silver color in the same size and found them to be extremely narrow. I went to run in them and had to take them off after a mile - there was no room for my baby toe. I couldn't believe it was the same shoe. I then exchanged it for the hot pink/teal blue color and found them to be larger than the teal shoe! All three colors had a different fit. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue but my advice is: try two colors and see which is best.

        Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

Best shoes I've bought in awhile. I'm 50 years old and do a lot of walking, and I also climb 32 flights of stairs 5x a week. I noticed my heels are sore a lot more these days as is the bone on the side of foot by the big toe (not sure what to call that, some people get bunions on that bone)...feel like my feet are going to start hurting more as I age though, so we'll see how well the shoes hold up in a month or so.

        Love my Brooks Adrenalines!

            Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

I was introduced to Brooks Adrenalines at my local running store when looking for a walking shoe two years ago. Since then, my Adrenalines helped me ease into some (slow) running including 5Ks and a couple of 10Ks. I love my Adrenalines and recently bought my 5th pair (one 12, two 13s, and two 14s). They have never let me down. They are comfortable for casual walking, fast walking, and (slow)running. If I could run fast, I'm pretty sure they'd fit that bill also! I am looking forward to using my most recent purchase...a pair of the purple/blue ombres. Oh, by the way, I am 61. Love my Brooks Adrenalines!

            Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

I love these shoes - the fit is great and the ride is good. The problem, though, is for people with narrow feet there are never any color choices! There is only 1 option and it has to be pink and white this time! Why can't there be more color options for people with narrow feet!? Maybe some highlighter yellow or blue would be fun, but I never get that option!

Please make more color options for narrow widths!!!
