Additional Information

Fresh out of charm school, the newest Adrenaline is smoother and smarter than any other. This time we amped up the velvety goodness of the Segmented Crash Pad by adding full ground contact for a crazy nice heel-to-toe transition. Brooks DNA provides adaptable cushioning so your feet will glide through every turn. Heading upstairs, new lacing design evens out lace pressure to create a snug fit, and 3D Fit Print adds a lightweight, flexible, no-stitch fit. With fresh looks and lines, this go-to shoe is ready to fly. The creme de la creme of support, cushion, and balance is the Adrenaline GTS 14.

But don’t take our word for it: Runner’s World Magazine named the Adrenaline GTS 14 "Editor’s Choice" in the Winter Shoe Guide in their December 2013 issue, saying the shoe "boasts all the trappings of a traditional stability model, but rides as smooth as ever.” The editors also praised the GTS’s cushioning, saying it "hits the sweet spot" and is "soft enough for high-mileage training but firm enough to remain stable."

I love brooks. I have wide flat feet (11-4e) and Brooks has been the one show that consistently fit. I have had several pairs of Brooks shoes, including older versions of the Adrenaline GTS 11. I was very excited to be getting the new GTS 14, but much to my dismay I found that the outside arch had been brought in and adjusted just enough to be painful.

I went out for a short 4 mile out and back run and ended up turning around after just a mile or so.
The fit in the heel and the toe box was perfect, but the OUTSIDE of the arch was very painful. At first I attributed it to the stiffness of new shoes, but when I found myself hobbling I decided to cut it short. I compared the soles to a pair of my GTS 11s and sure enough it was just a bit skinnier in the painful spot.

I will continue to try out other Brooks products in the hope that I can find a pair that fits properly, as they have been great shoes. I am also extremely sad to find that my favorite line of shoes no longer fits me.

I will continue to recommend that people try Brooks, but not with as must zeal as before.

      Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

Adrenaline GTS 14 is far and away the best running shoe I've ever worn. My feet are right in between a normal and wide width, so many running shoes while comfortable for everyday wear, are useless for running. Nike and Adidas, your shoes are straight up uncomfortable. These GTS14's fit my foot like they were made for it. So soft inside, very durable, fairly light, great traction. I've worn them through many a Portland rain storm and they are great in wet weather. Never a single blister or problem. They just dry out and have the same great fit the next day, just cleaner. Fantastic shoe. I'm considering buying one in every color just in case the GTS15 is not as good. Obsessed with this shoe.

        Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

I am a little older ..ok,ok.. 60 ! I find these shoes (and the past 2 pair) that I have purchased from Brooks to be the best. I walk 4-6 miles a day about six days a week. Most of my walking is on concrete or asphalt I have found these shoes to be, not only comfortable, but enduring also. The first time I put them on, I felt I was walking on butter. Hey, this is not solicited!

          Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

I bought these for walking and running. I have flat and narrow feet and this shoe was recommended for both types of feet. I wanted to buy the narrow width but it only came narrow in one color and I wanted a different color, so I ordered the medium width. The medium width seems to run a little narrow as it fit fine. When I lace them up they're not so tight as to bring the sides to meet like on other medium width shoe. My pain and blisters went away when I got these. I love them and will definitely buy another pair. I wear a size 12, I'm 6ft and was 260lbs when I started walking. These shoes have been very comfortable and supportive, I've already lost 30lbs!

          Laces too short!

          Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

Very stable shoe with good arch support. I wear inserts to help with pronation issues and the shoes' stability helps control the pronation. However, because I wear inserts, the laces are too short and create pinch points at the top of the foot! I replaced the laces that came with the shoes with new, longer laces.
