IF you haven't been an Adrenaline follower like me for, um, decades--be sure to order a half size up. I am normally a 9 but have always been a 9.5 in this shoe--especially for long distance.

For those worried (like I was) about trying a trail version of the Adrenaline, NO FEAR! This slipped on right out of the box with my orthodics as the Adrenaline has for decades now.

I've been wearing Brooks for the past 10 years, swear by their product, and have consistently bought the adrenaline for as long as I can remember. I recently decided to try a different style, which seemed comfortable at first, but now I'm finding the tips and sides of my toes are covered with blisters. Although I've never had to order a wide style, I do have a wide foot. I'm sure this shoe would be great for someone with a narrow foot, but I'm afraid after trying out these shoes for 60 miles or so I've decided I won't be able to continue to run in them.

Bought my first pair of brooks online. I was kind of leery of the sizing and I had a reason to be. Normally a womens 9.5B but after measuring my feet and told I needed a wide, I ordered a 10.5W(reviews and customer reps informed me Brooks Adrenaline ASR9 runs small). HUGE mistake! I should've stayed with size 10B. Aside from the biggest drawback, I liked the shoe. Very good traction (I run on very rough terrain), and very light.

If you need lightweight stability control and do a lot of walking/running on tracks and trails, this is the shoe for you! I have plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes that I can comfortably use my orthotic inserts in and they are still wide enough to accommodate my feet. They're great!!

I got the shoes.... got them out of the box and the next morning went on a 7 mile run. They fit great and felt just right as soon as I put them on. Love Brooks and I realllllly like the pretty aqua color. I am a half marathon/marathon runner and they work well for me. I am running happy with my choice!

This shoe is my new favorite! I have been wearing the regular Adrenaline for years. Wasn't so pleased with my last pair so I though I would give the ASR 9 a try. I usually add a heal insert and don't need to with this shoe. I am going to order another pair soon and put them away till I am ready for my next pair!

I have a moderate amuont of overpronation, so a supportive shoe is a MUST for me. When I started running, I ran almost exclusively on treadmills (and wore the Brooks Adrenaline GTS), but recently started running outdoors (on a nearby trail), so bought these to try them out. They are fantastic on the trail, and so much better suited for it. I can't say enough good things about these shoes. The only down side (and this is a down side that comes with needing more support in a shoe) is that they do feel a bit heavy but you get used to it, and I'd rather my shoes be a bit heavier than get another injury. For some reason, these feel like they have less arch support than the Adrenaline GTS. Also, as great as the Adrenaline ASR is for trail running, it's terrible on concrete. It just didn't seem to cushion as well as the GTS. If I'm running on concrete, I will stick with the GTS, but for everything else, the ASR is my go-to shoe.
