Too Small

I've been wearing the Brooks ASR since 2011. These have always been my go

I've been wearing the Brooks ASR since 2011. These have always been my go to shoes for everything, trails, roads, winter, summer and then when they're tired I use them for everyday wear. While I was excited about the new color of ASR 13s I was surprised to find I couldn't fit my foot into the 10 1/2. I then tried the 11 but my toes were still jammed together making even a short jog around the block a no go. Very sad, these are my favorite shoes. Read More

Sadly, the poorest quality shoe I've ever worn...

I have worn Brooks ASR shoes for trail running ever since the ASR 7 model

I have worn Brooks ASR shoes for trail running ever since the ASR 7 model back in 2010. These used to be the best shoes I could find for my running style: excellent support, traction, and very high quality. The shoes would last over 400-500 miles, and the sole would wear out before the shoes ever started falling apart. These new ASR's, however, just aren't constructed well. I ordered my first pair a couple of months ago and wore them for about a month, before large holes appeared along the sides as the upper was separating from the sole. I figured that I just got a bad pair, so I (stupidly) ordered another pair, only to have the same thing happen after about 6 weeks! I hope that Brooks fixes this issue in the next revision of ASR. Awesome Trail shoes.

The best running shoes I have ever worn. I have had these since last

The best running shoes I have ever worn. I have had these since last summer and have put many miles in them on a variety of surfaces and conditions. work well in all conditions. The durability in these are insane. I have very little wear at all after almost a year of regular use. Read More

the ASR has changed but not for the better

I have been running in Adrenaline GTS and ASR for the last 15 years. They have been extremely consistent to the point where I do not try them on. I simply get a size 11.5 and I'm off and running. This new shoe and the previous one stopped that consistency. The fit is totally different. I would totally agree with another review that the toe box is much smaller, which for me and trail running do not mix. It's unfortunate, because Brooks was always the consistent shoe brand. Now I'm not sure where to turn. Read More
