I have the Adrenaline GTS for road running and used them to train for my first half marathon. Loved them, so I decided to get a pair of the ASR for trail running. I've only worn them a few times so far, but they were incredibly comfortable and relatively lightweight. I felt very secure running on muddy, uneven terrain.

I have been running on a stoney, tree root covered trail. Sole takes impact well. Also good for snow, slush and mud. Keeps reasonably dry, as long as mud and slush doesn't get right on top surface of toe box.

Was trying to find snow boot with arch support and over the past 3 years, couldn't. Always had back issues after snow shoeing, hiking, etc. So, for the 2nd time have opted for waterproof Brooks. The traction is awesome and comfortable - great support - good in snow under shoe height and as warm as my boots when paired with great socks. Cons - had a neuroma removed from bottom of foot last year and this shoe has very little padding, so by the time I'm done hiking, my foot's on fire. Haven't figured out how to solve all my "wants" in one shoe. Dear Brooks...please make snow boots!

Just as comfortable as the regular Adrenaline but with added traction for trail running. The upper also keeps dirt and mild wetness out as you tackle wet grass, muddy trails, and hills. Awesome trail shoe!!!

I bought these shoes 2 weeks before running a trail half marathon so didn't have much time to try them out. They turned out to be so comfortable and responsive I not once did I think I was wearing new shoes.

Thank you for making a supported trail show for the rest of us!!! Good gracious, I LOVE this shoe!! I went through three other neutral trail shoes (Cascadias included)because everyone said that trail runners don't want that much support as they navigate uneven ground. Every pair failed me! Training for my second trail race and second 50k, a neutral shoe was just not cutting it. I finally decided to try out the ASR10 and I haven't looked back!!!! The ONLY complaint I have is that the traction can be fairly poor on wet rocks and roots but this is otherwise an amazing show. Comfortable. Supported. Lightweight. Sturdy. THANK YOU!!!

I am a long distance runner and enter many ultra events. I love Brooks products. Especially my adrenaline asr's. I am small framed and only wish they lasted longer. My monthly mileage is high and I imagine for the average runner they last the appropriate amount of time
