Awesome shoe! I do interval training and it performs!

I do interval training at a nearby gym and I see a good number of Brook running shoes. Really like the color.

Tread falling off of TWO pairs after just a few days of use

    2017/02/01 | Los Angeles, CA |

I recently purchased two pairs of GTS-16 shoes in black/anthracite that presented with the same defect. I had worn the first pair about 10 times (for daily errands, not exercise) when I noticed that the bottom layer of tread was separating from both shoes. Thinking this must be an isolated defect, I ordered the same pair from a different retailer. I have only worn this pair twice and the EXACT same defect is occurring. See attached photo. At this point I am frustrated because this is clearly more than an isolated issue, as I can tell from experience and the reviews of others posted here. A shoe should not fall apart after wearing it TWICE. I have owned several pairs of other GTS models over the years and never had a problem with quality until now.

    I finally found my shoe!

    2017/01/12 | Tacoma, WA |

I run 4-5 days a week and am a happy 1/2 marathoner. I've tried other Brooks models and other brands and the Adrenaline are by far my favorite shoe. These shoes provide plenty of stability and help with my pronation, and I never experience discomfort in my shins after my longer runs. Some shoes would cut off circulation in my toes, but the Adrenaline has plenty of room in the toe bed. (note: I go up a half size in my running shoes). This is my third pair of Adrenalines and when I've put in my running mileage on them, I convert them to dog walking shoes. They hold up great and I couldn't be happier.

    Good shoes, don't last

    2017/01/08 | Missouri |

I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for years and am usually very happy with the shoes. This time was no different. The shoes are comfortable, supportive, and leave me without foot pain when I run. The ONLY reason this review is less than stellar is that this time I seem to have received one shoe that was not durable at all. I do not run more than 15 miles a week. All my running takes place on a treadmill. The shoes are only worn outside to walk to and from my car on the way to the gym. Within a month of owning these shoes, the sole of the left one started to peel off. I know that happens on occasion, but this sole continued to peel to an extent that I have not experienced before with any shoe. With that said, I would still purchase these shoes for their comfort and support, but would be leery about buying them if you need them to last through a lot of wear and tear.

    Loved them

    2016/12/20 | Chicago, IL |

I am not a runner by any means, but I needed a pair of really good, comfortable shoes for work ( I am a part time waitress working 3-4 days a week and on my feet from anywhere from 6-12 hours at a time). I am cursed with nearly flat and wide feet. As a woman it's hard to find wider shoes that can accommodate these issues. Whenever I would buy a nice pair of sneakers or running shoes for work, they were comfy as far as cushioning and arch, but they never accommodated the wideness of my feet and after a while my shoes started pinching my toes, but when I would find a pair of wider shoes, they had terrible arch support. I couldn't find a happy medium and my body was taking a beating. After a shift, I would wake up the next day with my body and back aching and feet hurting so bad that I literally had to hobble down the stairs and my knees would be throbbing and clicking. I did some research, had my gait assessed by a specialist who watched me walk barefoot and he told me I had bad pronation since my arches are so subtle so these shoes were recommended to me. THEY WORKED WONDERS. I could immediately tell the difference while I was working. They had great stability and and amazing arch support and I didn't feel achy and broken after working a long shift. Granted, I had to go up half a size because they felt tight around my toes, but as long as I wore thicker socks, this was never an issue and I never experienced the horrible pinching around the toes that other shoes gave me. I would give 5 stars, but I agree that they did wear very quickly and pieces on the bottom did begin to fall off, but I understand that I did put them through a lot of wear and tear at work. The comfort level did go down slightly when they became to worn and I started feeling achy again, but I am more than willing to purchase another pair to replace them, because they were so worth every penny!

    Love them

    2016/12/13 | Philadelphia, PA |

I love Brooks Adrenaline shoes! I am VERY hard to find shoes for, but these are my go to running/workout shoes. I first got into Adrenalines when I went to a professional running shoe store to see what running shoes best fit me. They recommend these because of the arch support and cushioning. After I started wearing these my knee pain completely disappeared. They are also super comfy so great for running errands in. The only cons for me are that at first my big toe feels very squished, but after a while this goes away. I also sometimes find the soles of my feet overheat if I use them at the gym for a long period. They also seem to wear quickly, granted though I workout in them almost everyday and use them to go on daily walks. In the past 2 years I have gone through 4 pairs.

    Yes, I would recommend this!

    Wear out quickly

    2016/12/10 | Spokane, WA |

I am so disappointed in these shoes. I bought them back in March and was very happy at the time. I tried them on at a running store and they were so comfortable and supportive I kept going back to them. I am always willing to invest money in a good pair of running shoes but this pair only lasted me 9 months. I run an average amount and have put 175 miles on them per my garmin but from what I understand they should last me 500 miles. The bottom started peeling off months ago but I shrugged it off and used super glue to try and fix it but now I noticed each shoe has a decent size hole in the side! This was my first pair of Brooks and may unfortunately be my last because I have never had a running shoe wear out so quickly.

    So disappointed

    2016/12/10 | New York, NY |

My first pair of running shoes were Adrenaline GTS 15's, so once those hit 500+ miles I went straight for these 16's. These are much tighter and less flexible than the previous model. I could tell straight away after lacing up they were narrower. I also think they upped the arch support, since these are labeled as support shoes, but this was just too much for me. I do somewhat tend to roll into my arch when landing, but these felt like they were forcing my arch higher than normal. Fit wasn't at all like the previous year's model and I'll have to find a new shoe now. On the plus side, Brooks has a great return policy and customer service. For reference, I jogged 10km in these which was uncomfortable the whole time, but moreso towards the end. The 15's fit and felt great straight out of the box, so it's definitely a change in fit issue.

    Poorly made

    2016/11/29 | FL |

I bought these sneakers at the end of July. I have pnly worn them maybe 20 times because they didn't have enough support for running like I had thought when the sales person sold them to me. But my real complaint is that they are already falling apart. This is my first pair of Brooks and my last, sad to say because I love the look of their shoes. I will go back to the brand I have worn for years.
