$120.00 $120.00 - $130.00

Style #120174

The new Adrenaline GTS 15 women's running shoe takes equal parts support, cushion and balance, and wraps them in a stylish, high-performance package. Treat yourself to the adaptive cushioning of the BioMoGo DNA midsole that responds to your run and the full-length segmented crash pad that gives you ultra-smooth heel-to-toe transition. The Progressive Diagonal Rollbar provides reassuring stability while moisture-managing materials in the upper keep you cooler and dryer when you're on the run.

The Adrenaline GTS 15 runs slightly smaller than previous models. If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing ½ size up.

DNA Midsole

What is it?

Brooks DNA is an innovative and uniquely adaptive cushioning system. By adapting to your specific weight, pace, gait and running surface, DNA offers customized cushioning and adds a spring to your step.

Traditional cushioning takes a one-size-fits-all approach, but we know that each runner is different. Brooks DNA was developed to continuously tailor the level of cushioning to your specific needs – even as they change during the run.

How does it work?

Brooks DNA is made up of a highly viscous non-Newtonian material or more simply put, a material that adapts to the specific force you apply to it. Part of the brilliance is that this compound was engineered to perform at the molecular level (picture millions of resilient 'nanosprings').

If you looked at Brooks DNA through a microscope, you'd see that it's made up of individual molecules connected in strands. These strands (which form chains) react to the amount of force placed on the foot, dispersing pressure and providing resiliency. Bottom line of this physics lesson: You get tailored cushioning that reacts to your specific weight, pace, gait, movement and running environment – "made-for-me" cushioning vs. "one size fits all."

And, as with all good technology, we’ve taken it a step further (two steps actually):

  • BioMoGo DNA is DNA technology blended with the BioMoGo midsole to provide adaptive cushioning throughout the midsole vs. just in the heel and forefoot.
  • BioMoGo DNA midsole includes an organic, non-toxic additive that biodegrades the midsole 50 times faster than traditional EVA when it comes into contact with anaerobic landfill microbes (otherwise known as active, enclosed landfills).

  • 30% more cushioning than standard midsole materials (gel or EVA)
  • Twice as much energy return for more pep in your step
  • Great performance no matter your weight or running pace
  • Smoother transition from heel to toe

Segmented Crash Pad

What is it?

The Segmented Crash Pad customizes your foot's lay-down to provide amazing cushion and smooth heel-to-toe transition throughout the run.

How does it work?

We know that a key component of maximizing your run is to provide the smoothest possible heel-to-toe transition. The Segmented Crash Pad is one technology we use to achieve this goal.

Shaped like a caterpillar, the Segmented Crash Pad is a midsole made up of independent, yet fully integrated shock absorbers. As your foot strikes the ground, the segments work together to customize your individual lay down to provide the right amount of cushion and seamless heel-to-toe transition for you – making the most of all that effort you put into each stride.

I've been a devoted fan of the Andrenaline GTS 11th edition. I haven't been happy with the successors. The 12th, 13th and 14th edition did not work for me at all. They all felt like completely different shoes. What I loved about the 11 (lightweight, excellent arch support, hugged my foot perfectly, crash pad was firm and responded well) was not there in the 12, 13 and 14s. I was delighted to find that the 15s felt similar to the 11s. I did notice that the 15s ran a bit short. I wear a size 10 but needed to bump up a 1/2 size in the new 15s. (My big toe was touching the top and side of the size 10). Unfortunately with the 1/2 size bigger there's now a bit of excess shoe that buckles when I pull the laces tight around the toe area. It didn't seem to cause any problems during my run though. Overall, they feel and ride very much like the glorious 11th edition :-) I'm very happy. I'll buy a second pair for sure!

I've completed 5 marathons and used Brooks for all but my very first marathon. I've been an avid lover of Brooks running gear (clothing and shoes) for a long time. I have to say that I'm super disappointed with the no stitch. I thought I'd love the no-stitch as it would reduce an rubbing; but, all it did was reduce the support in the toe box making the shoes very uncomfortable. Sad day for me. To make things worse, when I contacted the company about my concerns all they did was say pretty much blow me off both via e-mail and at one of the marathon pick up packet events. Super sad day. As I've come into contact with the people wearing the no-stitch shoes I've questioned them about the comfort and most seem pretty disappointed. Many of the people did not even realizing the actual structural change until it was pointed out, just stating they didn't feel the same. I encouraged them to also contact the company, but it seems it doesn't seem to matter to the company as I know some of them received the same response I did. Super, super sad day.

I have been buying these for years. naturally, I bought the same size I always have. However, these do not fit. Unfotrunately, I did not try them on before I went out running in them. SO, I cannot return. I am just making do with them & my toes get numb on long runs. Brooks- why would you do this??

I've worn the Adrenaline since I started running four years ago. I have had three previous pairs and LOVED them!!!! Five days ago, I bought the same size (7.5 B) I've worn and in the store they seemed fine. However, I ran in them twice and by mile 2 my right foot was falling asleep. Returned them and got an 8 B. Too big on my left foot and my arch didn't fit right (the 7.5 B was perfect for my left foot) and too tight in the toe box - the outside of my right big toe began rubbing uncomfortably at mile 2. Will be returning these and looking for another shoe. Very disappointing.
