Additional Information

Fresh out of charm school, the newest Adrenaline is smoother and smarter than any other. This time we amped up the velvety goodness of the Segmented Crash Pad by adding full ground contact for a crazy nice heel-to-toe transition. Brooks DNA provides adaptable cushioning so your feet will glide through every turn. Heading upstairs, new lacing design evens out lace pressure to create a snug fit, and 3D Fit Print adds a lightweight, flexible, no-stitch fit. With fresh looks and lines, this go-to shoe is ready to fly. The creme de la creme of support, cushion, and balance is the Adrenaline GTS 14.

But don’t take our word for it: Runner’s World Magazine named the Adrenaline GTS 14 "Editor’s Choice" in the Winter Shoe Guide in their December 2013 issue, saying the shoe "boasts all the trappings of a traditional stability model, but rides as smooth as ever.” The editors also praised the GTS’s cushioning, saying it "hits the sweet spot" and is "soft enough for high-mileage training but firm enough to remain stable."

I love brooks. I have wide flat feet (11-4e) and Brooks has been the one show that consistently fit. I have had several pairs of Brooks shoes, including older versions of the Adrenaline GTS 11. I was very excited to be getting the new GTS 14, but much to my dismay I found that the outside arch had been brought in and adjusted just enough to be painful.

I went out for a short 4 mile out and back run and ended up turning around after just a mile or so.
The fit in the heel and the toe box was perfect, but the OUTSIDE of the arch was very painful. At first I attributed it to the stiffness of new shoes, but when I found myself hobbling I decided to cut it short. I compared the soles to a pair of my GTS 11s and sure enough it was just a bit skinnier in the painful spot.

I will continue to try out other Brooks products in the hope that I can find a pair that fits properly, as they have been great shoes. I am also extremely sad to find that my favorite line of shoes no longer fits me.

I will continue to recommend that people try Brooks, but not with as must zeal as before.

I am very glad I purchased Brooks this time. I will be a Brooks consumer for some time. I was a New Balance client for over ten years. New Balance is a very good product, but Brooks beat them out this time.

Really Like the Shoe but?

About Me Professional Athlete

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Cushions Impact
  • Good Arch Support
  • Good Traction
  • Pronation Control
  • Responsive

Cons

  • Not durable

Best Uses

  • Basketball Officiating

I'm a basketball official and I have used this shoe for the past to seasons. I really like the shoe and highly recommend it to anyone that runs on a regular basis. My only issues with the shoe is it's lack of durability. Both pairs I have owned started out great but then after several months of wear they both begin to tear in the small toe area. While this may seem like a small issues its important to me that the shoes last a bit longer then a few months. Being as how the cost is not cheap I would expect to get more wear out of these shoes. Otherwise, this is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever run in.

About Me Rarely Work Out

Pros

Cons

    • Work

I started a new job at a hospital on a Neuro spine floor as a Patient Care Tech and on the first day I worked 16 hours. Needless to say I was whipped and after wearing my old work shoes for another twelve hour day I went and bought a pair of these. They have truly made a difference in my work ethic on the job and the way I feel after a twelve hour shift. These shoes allow me to keep moving and for the first time in my LIFE, I have officially left Nike. What a comfortable housing my feet have come to love. Here I am Brooks!
