Additional Information

Lucky 13 is our best Adrenaline GTS yet. We paid special attention to the underfoot flex by adding Omega Flex Grooves and continuing Omni Grooves in the forefoot, allowing the outsole to bend and shape naturally. Continuing with the tradition of a tailored fit, stretch eyelets lock into the medial side to capture the foot better and technologies like Flextra and anatomical Brooks DNA deliver customized stability and cushion.

We’re not the only Adrenaline junkies out there – Runner’s World named the GTS 13 Editor’s Choice in the Fall Shoe Guide in their December 2012 issue. They call the GTS 13 a “classic stability shoe”, and quoted one wear tester as saying, “it’s soft enough that you can feel the road surface below, but there’s enough padding that you don’t feel as though you're running on concrete blocks.”

No luck here, just purely good design.

This is an excellent running shoe - I've been using Brooks Adrenaline for years, and gone through countless pairs for many half marathons. The support, sizing, and room for orthotics are perfect. Best of all: the shoe is super light weight. I tend to order a half size up and a wide because I like a little more room in my running shoes (I usually wear an 8/8.5 normal width shoe, but I get a 9D wide in the Adrenaline, just a personal preference). The only con is that until this year (2013), the colors have been pretty boring, especially for the wide sizes - but that hasn't stopped me from purchasing. It's nice to finally see a little more fun in the colors!

I owned a pair of Brooks GTS 12's and they were a great shoe. I use them for working on cement and out walking. After 1 1/2 years, they need to be replaced. I saw there was a newer model GTS 13, so I ordered a pair, plus another pair of the GTS 12 that were on sale.

I was disappointed after 6 months to get a hole in the upper part on the toe area of BOTH models. My old GTS 12's did not fall apart like this! I am very upset that your mfg. decided to use cheaper materials in an otherwise fantastic shoe!

I run 2 to3 mile daily, plus cross training on other days....my adrenalines are great for running and are the only shoe I can run in, but they do not do very good with cardio and aerobic activity. I have medium arches, neutral gait, but these are only shoes I can find my feet don't hurt. I have 3 pairs and rotate for running and everyday activity. I need more colors though. I also underpronate on my right foot.

I have tried on several brands of running shoes, but by far, this is the best shoe for supporting ankles and correcting over-pronation. I have a pair of adrenaline 12's, and the 13's are definitely an improvement! They provide more cushion, and I love the transitional support in the heel. My foot feels totally balanced in this shoe. I purchased a second pair! I also have a pair of pure cadence that I purchased at my local running store. Those shoes are lighter in weight and fun to run in, but they don't provide quite the same ankle and pronation support as the adrenaline. I'm not fond of the seams in the top of the pure cadence either- it has taken a long time for them to soften and not bother the top of my foot when running or walking. The adrenalines require no break-in period. Go run happy!

This is a comfortable shoe that I use for long distance running. My feet and toes do not go numb like in other shoes and my arches don't hurt. I only use it on roads.

I am new to the whole running thing but I can tell you that I did my research online and talked to experienced runners and decided to try Brooks. I run 5 days a week, just 3 miles on a treadmill. These shoes are great. Good fit, excellent arch support as well as shock absorption. All around great shoe for what I need. I expected to spend $120 but got them for 40% less. Will be a repeat Brooks fan.
