I have now owned these gloves for a couple of weeks, so I've taken them on several runs, mostly in quite low temperatures. I got them as a late Christmas gift, but I picked them out myself. I wavered between these and the Wanganui convertible glove mittens, which would doubtless have been warmer, but I decided on these because of the visibility windshield and because I figured they'd probably be warm enough.

I was right – these gloves are great, and keep my hands warm enough at most cold temperatures. A couple of days ago it was REALLY cold out and windy (probably low twenties) and they did get a little cold for a while, especially my thumbs, but that's to be expected. I actually tucked my thumbs under the windshields for a while with the rest of my fingers, and they warmed up. Again, this was a very brutal day – on more normal cold days they've been fine.

I LOVE the visibility shield. Because it rests on the back of the hand, on the fingers, it's perfectly positioned to flash at oncoming cars. It can be tucked away into a little compartment on the back of the hand that holds closed with magnets. There are also magnets on the wrists of the gloves to help keep them together when you're not wearing them, but these are indeed pretty weak. Fortunately I don't really care about that feature. The flip-back thumb is a little hard to flip back, especially mid-stride, which was the only real disappointment for me. For some reason I thought the thumb pad was going to have conductive threads so I would be able to use touch devices, but it does not – just a flip feature.

All in all I love these gloves, and I'm pretty serious about gloves because I have a wretched issue with bleeding hands in the winter. I recommend them!

      Comments about Adapt Glove:

I live in northern Ohio and bought these gloves in the fall of 2012 from a local running store, where they assured me that the gloves would be fine for our fall and spring weather but I'd probably need warmer gloves for the winter. I'm someone who gets pretty cold quite easily, PLUS I have Raynaud's (my digits are extra-sensitive to cold), so I was fully expecting to have to buy "winter gloves."

HOWEVER! I've been very pleasantly surprised with these amazing gloves. I've worn these almost every single time I've run outside from November until now (April), with temperatures down to 20F with some intense wind! My hands do start off a little cold if it's in the low 20's but definitely warm up quickly. (I read some comments that said not to wear these gloves below 40 degrees... and I would completely disagree! Personally, my hands get too warm if I wear gloves over 45 degrees.) I definitely utilize the wind guard at the beginning of my runs and then remove it when my hands start to warm up. I definitely recommend these gloves!!

        Comments about Adapt Glove:

Love these gloves! I have very small hands and, while the smalls are a little big, they are the best fit I've found in a running glove.

I took them out in the rain the other day and the cover did an excellent job of keeping my hands dry.

The are comforatable and it doesn't hurt that they are cute too!

I have been using these gloves all winter. Last week, the temp dropped to 1 degree. These glove/mittens did an awesome job keeping me warm on those chilly runs.

              Comments about Adapt Glove:

I use this glove between 30 degrees and gloveless weather (and my hands generally need more gloves than the next guy). Protects well against the wind. Very well designed, I must say. Such a great glove that I went out and bought a second pair.
