I used these gloves for the first time this morning on a run when it was 30 degrees. They are light weight and comfortable. I run while it's dark and I really like that they are reflective and have a light. The gloves have a light weight wind shield which seemed very effective for the chilly temps, At times, it was challenging to keep the shield over my fingers if I wanted to move my fingers around. All in all a good purchase.

I purchased these after losing one of my Adapt I gloves and was appalled at how much this second model had declined in quality compared to the original. The gloves are made out of very cheap material that did not keep my hands warm during the one day that I wore them. In addition, the flap that is supposed to cover your fingers to allow the gloves to turn into mittens was 1 1/2-inches larger than the fingers of the gloves, so it kept falling off. It was impossible for the thumb flap to stay on. I was really disappointed in these given how much I loved the original version of these gloves and have a feeling that Brooks chose cheaper production costs over glove quality. I would not recommend these to anyone.

Comments about Adapt Glove II:

I wear these gloves while running and riding my bike in temps below 40, particularly if it is going to be windy. compared to one other pair of running gloves I have that do not have the mitten wind stopper, these gloves do a much better job at keeping my hands warm. The wind cover is light and easy to remove, but at the same time, it sometimes comes off when I don't want it to. This could be because they are actually too large for me. I think these run very large, so you may want to consider ordering a size down.

Keeps your hands warm and dry. Waterproof/windproof protection stifles the breathability but keeps your hands from getting soaked and frozen. Light doens't work all that well but increases your visibility.

    Comments about Adapt Glove II:

I like them there were to big for me. I liked the idea to have wind block mittens and fingers in one glove. However I could not find S size or smaller in any of the web sites nor retail stores, so I had to return them.
I still miss my utopia 2 in 1 mittens those glove were the best ever. I lost them last winter and haven't find nothing as good as those. I would love to be able to buy them again but it seems like they are out for sell anymore.
These ones seems OK. The fabric looked a little cheap fabric and not very durable, but I could't try them.

      Comments about Adapt Glove II:

I got thes in midnight/brite pink. The pink was much lighter than it looked online (I would have preferred a darker pink) and the mitten part is floppy (they don't cinch down/hug the hand the way I hoped they would), so I usually keep the very thin mitten layer tucked into their pockets (wearing them just as gloves). As gloves they are GREAT and have the added bonus of a tiny flashlight (which I've never used but can see where it'd come in handy while running in dark, winter months). Gloves are toasty, much warmer than lighter gloves would be, and reflective strips are ideal.

            Comments about Adapt Glove II:

I wasn't paying attention to gender/sizing and purchased medium. These are either unisex or men's and were too big. But they felt so comfortable and I really needed replacement for my last pair of running gloves that I ordered again in small (gave the medium to my husband). These are really good cold weather running or cycling gloves. Very good at cutting the wind, but still light enough not to be bulky. The mitten option is my favorite. Had it on my last pair of gloves and prefer it to regular gloves.

Literally the first run the product began to come unstitched. I have not washed the product. I wear Brooks items, including shoes, almost exclusively. I have only had one other item, the Ravenna 6, that I felt was sub-standard. I will definitely be returning this item.

This glove is great for 30s down to -15F. Since I purchased this, I have used it everyday! My favorite feature is the removable "wind mitt" - when my hands get warm enough, I can tuck the mitten away and regulate my hand temps. I also really like the LED light on the left hand - it's bright, has several settings and is a nice feature for added visibility.

Originally I was looking for a different pair of Brooks running gloves. I was disappointed when I couldn't find them, as they are really nice and my husband steals them when it is cold. I decided to order these because they were close to the others. To my surprise they are even better. Love the fact that the mitten shell is attached so you don't lose it. Also great that the mitten shell can be tucked away and hidden inside the back of the glove if you don't want to use that feature. Excellent gloves. My son has taken them to college, and I will ordering another pair! :)
