I've been looking for something that offers a little more coverage than the average running short without looking dowdy, restricting movement, or drifting northward as I run. These fit the bill perfectly...or almost perfectly. They're lightweight, they're very comfortable, and they come in fun colors. Their only drawback is that they run very large. At 5'1" and 120 bottom-heavy pounds, I'm not exactly blessed with a "runner's build," and I normally have to go up a size in running-specific clothing. It was optimistic if not delusional of me to order these shorts in a S, but much to my surprise, I'm practically swimming in them.

I am a loyalist to the Infiniti shorts, but was lured in by the bright colors offered in these shorts. They are cute and the 5" inseam length is great for days when you're feeling a little more modesty than your typical running short will allow for. The fit and look is a bit more like an old school soccer short, longer and baggier than most running shorts. The size also seemed to run big.
Overall, these shorts seemed less durable and well made than the Infiniti or Epiphany shorts I've worn in the past, probably reflecting the difference in price. The fabric of the shorts and liner is thinner. Sweat is more visible on these shorts than on other Brooks shorts I wear. They are really comfortable and I like the alternative to a "short short" some days, but I wouldn't wear these for long runs where I know I'd be sweating a lot in them. However, they're cute and I'll keep wearing them for shorter runs and cooler days.

I'm new to running and wanted a comfortable pair of shorts to wear now that the weather is heating up. The shorts are comfortable, lightweight and fit true to size. They are a little short for my taste and will probably order a 6" pair next time.

The length on these shorts is perfect! I'm 5'4 and 138 lbs and pear shaped. I can't do the 3.5" shorts and these were perfect. My only complaint is the fabric is not as stretchy as I would have liked, but I still gave them 5 stars. You can also fold over the waist band for a contrast of color. Will be buying another pair of these!

I normally wear a Medium in workout stuff, but sized down due to the reviews about the shorts running big. I'm 5'4" and 125lbs and generally wear a 6p. The Small fits but feels snug. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer l looser fit for running.

I love these shorts, they are my favorite. They fit really well - not too billowy/not too tight, not too short/not too long. But please, oh please, add a zipper pocket somewhere for my keys/tissue/etc. The little pocket in front doesn't cut it.
