Love these shorts. I've been wearing Nike tempo shorts and I hate how poofy they are. Tempos aren't the most flattering anyway. I usually wear a small in every day clothes but I always go up a size in workout shorts and shirts so nothing is too tight. Medium fit perfectly, a little loose in the waist but not in a way that chafes. Very flattering, and perfect length. Definitely recommend!

I used the size guide provided and was way off on my purchase. These run really small. I sold them off to a friend that is smaller than me, and she liked them. Keep in mind they have 2 outside pockets and no inside one, so you will need another place for your keys. I liked the wide band at the top that can be folded over for some pop of color. I will be ordering these again in the larger size. I normally wear a M (size 6) and will need at least a L, if not XL. Very light weight and wider leg openings make it easy for running. This is a very short short as well, so if you wanted something to cover up, this is not the short for you.

Comments about Versatile 3.5" Low Rise Woven:
I love these shorts! I'm a half-marathoner and for the longest time I've been wearing Nike shorts...but I hate those shorts because they cling in all the wrong places and don't fit right. They always give me this ridiculous bubble butt!! I don't know if I'm the only one...but I bought these because I was desperate for something better and less expensive than the Nike ones. These shorts are amazing!! I just bought them 2 weeks ago and I'm already planning on buying a second pair! They are my first Brooks shorts, but I doubt now that they'll be my last. They are comfortable, breathable, fit well, are affordable, come in really pretty colors, and most importantly are flattering on the butt! I love these and I would recommend them to anyone!

Comments about Versatile 3.5" Low Rise Woven:
I read many reviews about these shorts being too tight and to size up; however, I stuck with a Small and these fit true to size!
I love the side pockets, perfect for storing a piece of gum or my ipod while I run.
Will be ordering more of these!

Comments about Versatile 3.5" Low Rise Woven:
This shorts are fun, but they run super small. I am typically a small, but even my medium seems to be tigter than normal. I like the detail on them. They are retro, but still really stylish.

Comments about Versatile 3.5" Low Rise Woven:
I read another review before purchasing my pair that said they run small. So I got one size bigger than I would normally have and they fit great. I wish the sizing was more accurate. But the shorts are adorable and comfortable. I love the thick waist band!

Comments about Versatile 3.5" Low Rise Woven:
I ordered several different pairs of shorts from Brooks and this was the only one I liked. I am 5'7", 123 lbs. I find that a lot of running shorts are baggy and unflattering. The Brooks Versatile Low-Rise 3.5" is just perfect. You won't get that diaper effect in the front. I went with an extra small and they fit a bit more snug in the waist than my other name-brand running shorts, but I find the Brooks shorts to be more attractive and very comfortable. I tested them on a 12 mile run and they were just great! Just the right length too. I love the dark grey and I will definitely be buying these shorts in other colors. I wish Brooks offered them in a green color!
