About Me Casual/ Recreational

Pros

  • Cushions Impact
  • Pronation Control

Cons

  • Uncomfortable
  • Very Hot

Best Uses

This was my first pair of Brooks and I am let down. I don't consider myself a runner and only run 5ks at run/walk intervals. Running, the shoes were fine, but walking my feet started to ache. I was aware of how hot my feet were getting while running, and by the end, I couldn't wait to take them off. I realized its not a good shoe after my 2nd run, but gave them another shot, but after 3 runs and aching feet, I gave in and sent them back.

    Best Uses

    • Dry Weather

    • Good on Concrete
    • Moderate pace jogging

I was Switch shoe fan. I only ordered the Vapor due to the Switch being discontinued. I first used them (Vapor) for casual wear. Then I jogged. The shoe feels like it needed to get acquainted with your foot, hence a break in. One foot felt great, the other shoe rubbed in right arch. I ran on grass, concrete, and blacktop. I think this shoe is good for moderate jogs on concrete. The cushioning is thin, but the support is pretty good. Probably because I usually wear tennis shoes until the cushioning is nearly exhausted. However, due to the right shoe rubbing.....
