Comments about Utopia Thermal Pant:
Training for a 1/2 marathon this winter. These have been great, never too warm or too cold. Good without a base layer from 20-40°F, with a base layer under 10° (Coldest run was 0°). I am 6-1, 200, the large fit well. The fit is comfortably loose without being floppy. Slightly smaller leg openings would be okay, but they really are not a problem as they are.

Comments about Utopia Thermal Pant:
I bought these pants to get me through some bitter cold days here near Pittsburgh this winter. When the temperature drops below 30 and/or the wind kicks up, I put the Utopia Thermal Pant on over my running tights, and they give me protection from the wind and just enough added insulation to keep me comfortable. Runs that I used to give up on because of the cold I now complete easily because I'm comfortable and warm!

Comments about Utopia Thermal Pant:
Great cold weather pant. They are breathable and warm. I live in a very windy winter area and they block just enough wind to keep you comfortable. They were about an inch bigger in the waist than any of my Brooks shorts of the same size (all sized medium). They also don't taper down at the ankles. If you're running in really cold weather (below 40) you may get a draft down there. If you don't like pant legs flopping back and forth while you run, these are probably not going to work for you.

Comments about Utopia Thermal Pant:
Very practical and multifunctional. It would be great if there were options for length. I can't alter the length because of the zippers. Very comfortable though.

Comments about Utopia Thermal Pant:
I wanted a pair of pants to run in outside in below 30 degree weather during the winter months. These are the pants someone recommended to me and I am glad they did. I have run in these pants at least twice a week now outside for the past two months (Jan/Feb) in single digits, snow, ice, wind, and cold. They fit me perfectly and I haven't worn a base layer underneath above 15 degrees and I haven't once thought about being cold nor did I ever feel they were trapping too much warmth. They breath really well and move effortlessly even on the longest of runs. They are a pretty good looking pair of running pants as well. These are one pair of pants I hope Brooks leaves alone while keeping around for a very long time.

Comments about Utopia Thermal Pant:
These pants were really impressive. They are very warm for what seems to be extremely light matterial. I normally prefer just tights but wore these on a fairly cold morning. I was surprised that I didn't even think about them being on.

Just dug them back out for the approaching winter season after using them all last winter. Excellent. Used them for almost all my long runs while training for a marathon. Very comfortable.
