warm; looks great. Lots of functional pockets for cell, music player, all your gear. Only downside I can thnk of is the main pockets are mesh too and I fear they won't hold up.

I wear this jacket over a base and mid layer and run on some very bitter cold days (one run was at 20 degrees) while staying warm and comfortable. The jacket might be too warm if the temp. is much over 30 degrees, depending on your other layers. For me, I wanted something to wear on very cold days here near Pittsburgh this winter, and this has worked out well. The fit is very good (I used the recommended size chart). I often use this jacket with the Utopia Thermal Pant. Some have complained about the style of this jacket but I bought the grey/black pattern and love it--I guess everyone's tastes are different!

I LOVE THIS JACKET!!! Is sooo comfortable!! The interior is soft. Keeps me warm while running and it also looks great to wear while running around town as well as just wearing it to run errands.

This jacket provides plenty of warmth for winter training and is breathable enough to wear as a warm-up piece for spring workouts. It's also stylish enough to throw on if you're heading into town between runs. This is my favorite winter/spring piece from Brooks right now!

I've been waiting quite a while for Brooks to make a men's version of the Utopia Thermal Hoodie. Hard to find a warm, full zip, hoodie for the fellas! I like the comfort and fit (at 5'8", 150 lbs the small fit perfectly, I was swimming in the medium). Big fan of the hood, especially since I have a shaved head; perfect for post-run, especially as the weather turns cold. Also, when fully zipped it sits low on the neck, so it doesn't choke you the way other zip-up tops can. The Infinity 1/2 zip has been my go-to cold weather top, and this seems heavier, so I'll probably use the Utopia Jacket for temps in the low 30's or colder. It is also versatile, and can be worn casually or as a warm-up. My only reservations are that the jacket seems sort of pricey for what it is. Also not crazy about the styling (What is with the stip on the chest? Brooks usually has the sharpest looking gear.) and limited color options (The ladies have 6 colors to choose from). Overall, a good first attempt at a men's Utopia Thermal; 4 stars.
