I was looking for a windproof jacket to run in. While I liked this style, I felt it was better suited for casual wear than running. I think it would have been to warm for me to run in. I ended up getting the Silver Bullet jacket instead. I would have kept this one, but I already have a casual wear soft shell.

I have used this jacket to run in 10 degree weather, with only a base layer under it, and it kept me warm. The pockets are ample for all of my stuff, kleenex, lip balm, sport beans, etc. The inside pockets are roomy enough for my I-pod, android phone headphones. I love the flip over cuff on the arms which are great in a pinch if I forget my gloves, or if it suddenly becomes chilly. I own this jacket in two colors because I love it so much.

Wear this jacket to/from the gym and have received many comments about it's feminine style and shape. Have a black and plum version of this jacket but had the hand "cuffs" taken out. I have longer arms but these are too long and take away from the tailored "dressier" look of this shell and make it more difficult to wear something long sleeve underneath.

This jacket is fantastic- keeps me warm in 30-40 degree temps with just a light technical long sleeve shirt underneath. I think it'll be great as the temp dips a little more with a warmer shirt or extra layer. The fit and color are great - very visible and cute! Also, love the thumbholes.

I bought this gift for a friend's birthday to encourage her to run during winter. She gets cold very easily and was skeptical of how a thin jacket such as Utopia can keep her warm. We ran together in weather under 20 degrees, high wind, and she stayed warm the entire run. She was impressed at how the jacket kept the wind out, and kept her warm without overheating. She especially love the deep purple color with the subtle swirl designs (You can barely see it, so it adds a little design without being over the top girlie). She esp like the pockets inside where she can kept her Iphone safe. Great product once again! Definitely expensive, but worth the pennies. Size wise - my friend is 5'5 , 125 lbs and she wore a small. Fit her perfect.

I've been looking for a jacket like this for a long time. I love it! It is lightweight but surprisingly warm. I've only tried it in 40 degree weather so far, but I just had a short sleeve tee underneath and was plenty warm. I'm sure it will do well in the Midwestern winter. The medium is a bit more snug than I expected. I'm 5'6" 140 and a 34D. It fits really close to my chest, so if I'd been able to try it on, I might have purchased a large instead of a medium. Overall, it's a great jacket!

I got this jacket two weeks ago for colder evening runs and I am so happy with it! The fit is great and really cute - flatters and is semi fitted, but moves with you. I purchased in a small and have room for layers underneath, but this jacket is warm, so I've only used a half zip so far and have been very comfortable in 40 degree temps. The jacket runs true to size compared to other Brooks gear. The material is also very light, so you don't feel bulky. I love the thumb holes in the sleeves. This jacket is going to get a lot of use this winter!

Really nice soft shell jacket, comfortable as a layer indoor and out. For size reference I'm 5'3", 108lbs, 34(A)-27-36 and the Small fit perfectly.

I tried this out during a snow storm. It was warmer than anticipated. It kept me dry and comfortable yet didn't get weighed down nor did it absorb too much water. I would buy this again.

I use this jacket to run in 20 degrees or below in Western NY. It keeps me nice and warm and looks fantasic. It is really cute and the image on the website doesn't do it justice. It is my favorite piece of running gear and motivates me to lace up on cold dark nights! I consider myself to be a "medium" but the medium wouldn't even zip, you may want to order up one size.
