The two layers of this mitten are perfect. They got me through a Michigan winter..which says a lot. When it's below 20 I add an extra thin glove inside(but I have very sensitive hands). The top layer keeps the wind out and fleece liner keeps you warm. The only bad thing is when you misplace them you will probably throw a fit!

Great hand wear for cold to very cold running, and medium cold to cold road cycling. Wicks moisture away from hands effectively. Remove one layer as temperature warms during long outings. Easy machine wash care and quick dry afterward. Snug fit, but that keeps them from bunching up on brake/shifter controls.

These mittens don't get any better. They are actually two pairs put together. An inner fleece pair and the weather resistant and reflective outer pair. I have circulation issues in my hands and they get cold and stay cold, but these mittens even keep my hands cozy while biking in windy and rainy conditions.

I jog in cold, wet, and windy weather. Have not worn yet in wet conditions but they pass the test for cold (single digits) and wind. My hands are warm from start to finish. Once my hands were sweaty at 3 miles but that didn't bother me. Our local running-specialty store doesn't carry these mittens but should. Once again, I'm sold on Brooks apparel!

Cons
- Poor Ventilation
Best Uses

- Windy Conditions
These gloves have been great for the terribly cold winter we've had so far. The outer liner blocks the wind/snow, and the inner liner traps the warmth. The ventilation could use some attention, as it's easy to overheat and build moisture. However, this is much better than any other cold-weather glove I've tried before.

I have used these in sub-freezing temperatures and they are excellent. Great for the time that you need more than a glove to keep your hands warm. Soft but good wind protection, warmer than I would expect for a lightweight glove. I haven't used them in the wet weather so I can't comment on that.

These are the BEST mittens ever! I like them so much that I own two pairs! Before I owned this mittens, I struggled to keep my hands warm on cold running days. With these, my fingers actually stay warm. This may seem pricey for a mitten but if you live in climates where it gets below 20 degrees, you will not regret this purchase.

My running partner has these mittens in sz. S/M. I used hers once and loved them for windy/cold days. I had my brother order me a pair for Christmas in the sam size and they were more narrow/ small than hers. She purchased hers about 5 years ago, so somewhere down the line, they got smaller/narrower. I returned mine for a Large and they fit much more comfortably. My hands fit a little spacey in the L, but better than being constricted. They are perfect mitts for running when you need something lightweight that will cut the wind and keep your paws warm!

I had a pair of these mittens but let my son take them to college. Missed them so much, I had to buy another pair.
