When I first tried this one I thought there is no way it'll keep me warm -- it's too light! But I ran in 26 degrees today -- kept me toasty warm. It fits great everywhere but is a bit snug in the chest (but I am big chested, so most tops are snug there -- I am an xs everywhere but the chest). However I did not feel at all constricted while running. The jacket moved with my body perfectly. My only issue -- The zipper feels a bit cheap; it is a little hard to zip and I hope it doesn't break. I wore the Equilibrium Thermal top underneath and stayed perfectly warm - but not too warm. Before I got this jacket I would have to wear 2 long sleeved shirts and a fleece jacket to stay warm and then felt like Randy from A Christmas Story ("I can't put my arms down!"). I love that I can run in cold without having to bundle up! However, you have to stay moving to stay warm -- this jacket is made for running, not sitting around. Highly recommend for cold weather running.

Too expensive to be casual wear, but pretty much all you'll find it useful for.
Had to have this jacket when I experienced the amazing Silver Bullet pant, and saw it on sale -- now very disappointed.
First of all, it's TINY TINY TINY through the chest. I do not, unfortunately, have a large chest at all. It's difficult to enjoy the usual range of arm-swinging. Extremely constricting. Thumb holes are very awkward on this one and largely useless.
However, beware: if you go up a size, you lose the snug fit at the bottom. All of its insulation and venting capabilities will go out the window.
Wore it in a range of temperatures this winter so far. Found it to be barely doing anything for me at all. The second I stop to stretch or do calisthenics I freeze. You'd do better just wearing a fleece or something in wool.
It does not feel comfortable. It's like wearing a suspiciously light thermos. In fact, I wish they'd get over the hypothetical awesomeness of the "silver lining" reflective technology and just line it with wool.
The stitching seems to be loose and uneven, though it might be the nature of the fabric layers and how they need to be held together. Quality otherwise is great as always.
In a fit of vanity I resolved to keep it -- it does look quite striking! I plan to use it for bike rides and other activities that don't warrant arm-flailing. It does block wind and dries fast.

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
I've worn this jacket for the last 5 months in the cold, unpredictable MN winter. I absolutely love this jacket. It has kept me warm through the cold, wind, icy-rain, and snow. I usually layer a long sleeve running shirt underneath, but nothing too thick because with the wind resistance of this jacket, it keeps me warm! I ordered my normal size Medium and felt comfortable in the chest and shoulders. In 45 degree weather, I wear this jacket with just a short sleeve bike jersey for my 6 mile bike commute to work. It is amazing that such a thin, light-weight jacket can provide this kind of warmth!

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
Liked the jacket but it was too form fitting to be anything other than an single outer layer. I needed something that I could really layer up in cold temps since Wisconsin has long winters that can run from early fall through late spring, but I also wanted to be able to wear it alone as the temps warm. Had to return this in search of something with a slightly more generous fit.

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
Make sure to size up! I ordered an XS and it was very tight on my chest/shoulders. I exchanged it for a S, and it fits much better in the shoulders, but it's a little roomy in waist. The sleeves also seemed a bit long, but I'm only 5'1", so I've dealt with this my whole life. I agree with the other commenters that the thumbholes are very awkwardly placed. Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket. It blocks the wind and keeps me warm, but not too warm.

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
I think I found the jacket I've been looking for. Thin enough so it's not bulky and I can run easily with arm movement. Aluminum inside keeps me warm and toasty in the frigid Boston cold. Reflective elements keeps me safe in the dark morning and evening runs. Fits perfectly. I am between XS and S and got the small so I can layer underneath. Perfect length as well but I am on the shorter side with shorter arms. I have not yet tested this in inclement weather. The only thing that would make it perfect would be a hood!

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
My sister-in-law (an avid runner) recommended this jacket. It felt so light I didn't believe it could be warm- but I've tested it out in 20 degree weather with 20mph wind- it's warm! It starts to "heat up" about 5 minutes into your run. Really psyched about this jacket.
Note- I wear a small in everything, but got a medium in this. The small just felt a little snug.

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
I use this jacket when the temps drop between 0 degrees and 40 degrees. It kept me warm and dry during a snow storm. The only issue I had was the thumb holes were a little small and due to the placement of the holes, while using them, the jacket arms would twist a little making them bunched and slightly tight. Other than that the hand warmers worked great and I'm in love with it!

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
How is this jacket so warm?????? I recieved it last week and have already worn it on 3-4 runs.......it has been extremely windy, and this jacket does an awesome job of blocking the wind!!!! (it might even make me run a little faster:)!!!) I would not recommend it for temps above 45....I had to shed it on one run, but it is so light I didn't even remember it was tied around my waist!! very versatile, and worth the price...makes me want to go put it on and run right now!!!

Comments about Silver Bullet Jacket:
Fit was fine for me. i purchased my regular top size of medium. Little snug in in shoulders and the sleeves could have been a bit longer. The mittens cannot be used without restricting my arms.
