I was very excited to get shorter shorts with a inner "compression" liner. Previous pairs of running shorts from Brooks have been great. The compression liner has a seam that runs right between 2 normal chafing spots to create a very uncomfortable sensation right there. The has happened every time I've run in these shorts.

These shorts are absolutely fantastic! I've always chaffed on my inner thigh, so I've had to wear compression shorts underneath all my shorts on long runs. They were always really long and looked ridiculous with shorter running shorts. When I heard about the 2-in-1 shorts, I was little skeptical, but after wearing them, they are terrific! The inner liner is perfect for support as well as stopping the chaffing. I love them!

I ignored the warning from the other review that said they tended to ride up. I figured that this really wouldn't bother me that much, but it is pretty extreme. They are bunched up in the crotch after about a minute of running. I'm sure it various to an extent for each person, but be forewarned.
