A middle child to neutral and support, the Ravenna 4 is leading the charge for in-between feet. This season, this shoe is bringing a little more cushion, a bit more flex, and a whole lot of swagger with sleek design lines and fast colors. We've also honed in on midfoot capture and engineered a saddle that envelops the foot with an adjustable band. Not too Neutral and not too Support, the Ravenna 4 is juuuust right. Don’t take our word for it: Runner’s World® named the Ravenna 4 its "Best Buy" in the Spring Shoe Guide in the March 2013 issue. Their bottom line? "For the price, it’s awfully hard to beat this balance of features and ride."

I bought this shoe while training for the Boston Marathon. I am a mostly neutral runner who overpronates slightly. This shoe is PERFECT! Seriously the best training shoe ever. Fropm the first time I put it on I felt like I was gliding. I will definitely be keeping Ravenna's in my running shoe rotation. (I race in the Cadence and love them too!)

I don't like the design of the Ravenna 4 - I wore out 5 pair of the original Ravenna style and they felt great from day one but I've worn these for 2 weeks and they still are not comfortable - don't know what the design change was but it needs to go back to the way it was in the original design. I'm not happy with these at all.

Have to say it took 3 attempts to find the right shoe for me, I went through the adrenalines(too much support), tried the Ghosts (not enough support, caused knee pain), prayed that the Ravenna's would be my go to shoe and I have to say ran a 5k on Saturday and I didn't even notice my feet...love my new shoes!!! Thanks Brooks if it wasn't for your awesome return policy, I never would have tried Brooks!!!

I don't normally write reviews, but I had to for these shoes. I bought them Friday, walked around in them Saturday morning, and went for a 3 mile run. They were very comfortable, so I figured why not wear them in my half marathon the next day. The shoes weren't broken in but they gave me absolutely no troubles. I loved the arch support they provided. I've been experiencing a ton of problems with my left foot, but it was as if the shoes took away all the pain. I love them. I achieved another personal best and know if I didn't wear them I would have been hurting on the sidelines in my old pair of Nikes. They offer breathability too, which I've never experienced before and kept my feet cool. I've never owned a pair of Brooks. At yesterday's half I couldn't believe the amount of people wearing Brooks shoes and now I know why. All my girlfriends have Brooks too and now we call ourselves the Brooks babes.

bought these shoes today I wanted to steer away from brooks not that i didnt like them i just wanted to test other brands out i tried at least 6 different brands, my sale girl brought me out the brooks ravena and man i fell in love instanly. the cushion on these shoes are great, my prior brooks were the adrenlines, these i feel give better support in the toes and arch areas. best investment thus far and man they soo comfortable for my achy feet!

I've had a hard time finding a shoe that doesn't make my heal sore and these seem to be great as long as I don't stand for too long. The cushion is the best in these shoes. I also noticed when I ran I didn't get as many aches from the support. Bought a pair of the exact style in another color and that was a different story. The tongue made the top of my foot hurt and I didn't feel near as much cushion. Not sure what the difference was. Glad I gave these a try.

I had been running in Ravenna 2, so just bought these to try out. They are heavy and the arch is high and uncomfortable. They are a bit stiff too. I realize that you need to "break in" your new shoes, but the Ravenna 2's were just amazing right off the bat, and these are not. But, I love Brooks, so I will keep attempting to break them in.

- With Orthotics/Inserts
I run outdoors 3 to 5 days/week and so far no complaints. I have low arches and mild/moderate overpronation and these shoes have great support and work well with my orthotics. They are very well cushioned and remain comfortable for miles on end. I previously wore a size 7.5 in Asics, but went with the size 8 Ravenna because I found the toe-box to be too tight in the 7.5's. Definitely size up at least a 1/2 size.

These running shoes made my middle left toe numb after about 5.5 miles of running on pavement. I had to give it up about 8 miles into it because my left toe was so uncomfortable. Any ideas why this would happen? This is my first time in a Revena shoe. I have a pair of Ghosts, and they make my instep sore. Help!
