I run 10-12 miles a week. I used to get pains in my left thigh after a run and was told to try new running shoes, so I did. I see a huge difference in my running ability and in the way I feel after a run since buying my Brooks Ravenna 3.I love them!

I loved the Ravenna 2's soooo much. They were my intoroduction to Brooks running shoes last year. I've tried on dozens of different sneakers but when I tried Ravenna 2 I felt like I found THE PERFECT running shoe for me. I wore out 2 pairs of them between last spring and fall. I was stoked to get the Ravenna 3's when they were released earlier this year. Boy was I dissapointed!! The toe box was totally different. Much wider. The whole shoe felt too deep and I really had to tighten the laces to try and get a secure fit. So much that the material started to crease. The 2's were so great that I thought I should give them a try regardless of the differences. The added width and poor fit made for some really uncomfortable, unstable runs and I gave them away after 2 or 3 wears. PLEASE, PLEASE go back to the fit of the Ravenna 2 for the 4th edition.

I have been wearing Ravenna's since I first started running and have gone through the first, second, and third "updates." Some people do not seem to like the improvements but they always work for me. I have tried other Brooks styles and they just don't work for me when running. I tend to land on the front/ball of my foot and seems these shoes wear out quicker than they are supposed to. However, I still like the Ravenna and will continue to get this one.

After suffering with knee pain for the last year and a half on my runs, someone suggested Brooks Ravenna as a possible solution. My problem seemed to be stemming from an over-pronation issue. I can't believe what a difference this shoe has made for me! Immediately I could run 5 miles easily with no knee pain. I love my Brooks and highly recommend this shoe for anyone with similar issues.

I went to the store and tried the Ravenna 4. Fell in love with the feel, but price point was a tad high. Friend suggested trying the Brooks website and looking into the Ravenna 3. It was half the price! Ordered it and LOVE these shoes! They have helped with my shin splints. Saving up for next time to upgrade to Ravenna 4.

I bought my first pair of these shoes before training for my first marathon. A helpful employee in my local running store helped assess my gait and recommended this shoe. I had a great training season, and now that I've put in so many miles it's time for a new pair! I think I'll continue ordering this shoe, it's a great value.

Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase! They are very comfortable and fit me well. I completed my first long run with them a few days ago- a total of 9 miles. No blisters or significant aches and pains. The cushioning is amazing for me (knees and hips feel good). I would absolutely purchase these again! Still, I would like to put some more miles before I describe durability.

It really hugs my feet in the right places. I ordered a half size smaller because they didn't have my normal running shoe size. This, however has not impacted my run, just makes me a little more aware of my toes (LOL). The first time I ran with them, I finally experienced the runner's high!

I purchased these as I recently registered for my first marathon! I've been wearing various Brooks models for the last 3 pairs I've owned and they took me through three 1/2 marathons. I didn't really even consider switching brands. I really really loved the Trance, and was happy, but not exstatic about, the PureCadence. The Ravenna's fit better into my price range as I expect to replace them more frequently as I increase my mileage. I found it helpful that the shoe size wizard on the Brooks site recommended a 9 though I previoulsy was a 9.5 in other Brooks models. This saved me some shipping headaches.
I've been pleased and may even reorder these now (way before I need new ones!) while the older model is on sale.

I owned 2 pairs of these shoes and never had a problem with them- or running in them. I went to my local shoe store to buy my 3rd pair, and they talked me into buying Newtons. I did, and I have regretted it ever since. The Newtons were big bucks $$ and I ended up getting hurt and out of running for 2 weeks! I ditched the Newtons and went back to my trusty Brooks! I will never switch again!
