Absolutely love this shoe!!! I had the original Pure Connect and have tried several other minimalist shoes but nothing compares to these. Love the arch support - perfect for the long runs. Can't tell much difference between the 2's and the original Pure Connect which is what I was wanting. The only thing that would make this shoe better would be longer wear but they are definitely my go-to shoe. Please keep making these shoes, they make my runs so much fun!!!

I've loved my Pure Connect (originals). I was excited to see these in the new colors. The colors are great and this is a really, really great looking shoe. I was so sad when I tried them on and my toes hit the front of the shoe. I ordered the same size I'd been wearing in the PC1. The shape of the toe box has changed and there's something about the way the toe is angled that doesn't work for me with these. Maybe I have long toes?? I found a retailer and tried a 1/2 size up, but then the shoe was too large. Ended up purchasing another pair of the "old" Pure Connect. I'm so sad that I'm going to have to find a new favorite running shoe.

Comments about PureConnect 2:
I ran through a few pairs of the PureConnect 1 and I loved them. I loved how snug they were around my foot - it felt like wearing socks with soles. Unlike what many reviewers say, the first generation fit fine when I wore my normal shoe size (snug, but in a good way). So when the next generation came out I went ahead and bought them in my normal size, but unfortunately it seems like they changed something about the shape so my 2nd and 3rd toes bumped up against the front of the shoe. I exchanged them for a 1/2 size up, but those feel slightly too large, especially for my (slightly smaller) right foot. I can still run in them, but they don't have that snug feel that I loved so much with the first generation - there's a lot more wiggle room in the toe area. Once I run through this pair I probably won't purchase this generation again.

Comments about PureConnect 2:
I never write reviews. Ever. But I had to share just how these shoes have changed my life. I have been a runner for years. But recently I was diagnosed with runner's knee. I took off for some time and when I attempted to return I hurt my knee so badly that I needed to take even more time off. I resigned myself to the elliptical, thinking id never again be a runner. Someone suggested brooks, so I gave them a try. I've run 3 times now without any knee pain at all! I'm a brooks fan for life!

Comments about PureConnect 2:
These are my 1st pair of Brooks. I was petrified when I finally got my shoe delivery...I have very flat feet, and there is a giant arch support in this shoe. That usually means blisters for weeks where my arch should exist.
But, the arch is shaped differently - I don't know how, but I've given the shoes 2 test runs, and absolutely no blisters or rubbing.
I wear size 8 in regular shoes, size 9 in Mizunos - and the Brooks shoe size selector recommended a size 10 for the PureConnect 2. The size 10 is probably 1/2 a size too large, but not enough of an issue that I need to return them.

Comments about PureConnect 2:
These shoes were hard to tell if they had great arch support because they are a flat looking sneaker. But when you put them on they immeadiately mold to your arch and foot and they have a gel like shock absorbance so they feel kinda bouncy. I love them and I am buying both colors!

Comments about PureConnect 2:
I love the origional Pure Connect. It fit like a glove, hugging my foot in all the right places. I was so excited to get the Pure Connect 2 because I loved the tongue they were using that had been on the Green Silence. Well, that's the only thing I liked about the Pure Connect 2. The elastic band around the top of the foot is useless, it's actually loose, and I have a high arch. The toe is a little shorter and the front of the foot (toe box) is wider. The soft mesh material completely covers the entire front of the shoe and is so flimy by foot slides around. I really have to cinch the shoes tight to get any support. I've returned them and will be stocking up on the origional version and will await version #3.

Comments about PureConnect 2:
I've tried several different styles of the Brooks running shoes in the past year, and these are by far the best I've found yet. Comfortable, lightweight , and supportive. Ran my first race in 30 years with these shoes right out of the box! Did awesome, felt great during and after!
Well done Brooks! I will definitely be buying another pair of these shoes in the future,

Comments about PureConnect 2:
I have choosen the ASICS T217N for my first minimalist shoes. But the toe box was too small for my feet, and after 4 weeks i was managing pain in each foot during each training. I have decided to try the Pure Connect. First impression, even after some remaining pain in my toes, the confort was there, no impact or pressure on feet. Try it on a 26km/2 hours, the Arch support is a little bit strange at the beginning, but after a while, it's a real confort. I plan to run my Marathon with these shoes. Great.

I love these sneakers. The only concern I have is that the soles are going to wear out sooner than with my other Brooks.
