The PR Collection is designed with promising high school athletes in mind. So, we're happy to announce the "Name This Spike" promotion as a way to honor and showcase their talent, determination, and hard work.
Here's the deal: In 2012, the fastest high school time run in each spike in the Brooks PR Collection will become the new name of the spike in 2013. For example, the fastest 100m run by a high school athlete wearing the PR Sprint in 2011 was 10.45, so the spikes' new name in 2012 is the PR Sprint 10.45. The winning runners will be featured in Brooks' catalog and on BrooksRunning.com. And each winning athlete's time, venue run, and city will be printed on each spike so that everyone will know what the fastest time run by a high school athlete was in each Brooks spike the previous year. Because we like to give credit where credit is due.
