I've worn this on a few runs and a few hikes now, and I really like how lightweight it is. And the bright colors are fun. It doesn't breath quite as well as I'd imagined it would, and it sticks to the skin a little when you sweat, but it's nothing terrible, and it dries quickly.

When I first felt this jacket I thought it to be alarmingly thin for the price, but don't let that fool you. It's surprisingly warm and sturdy despite being so lightweight. It blocked the wind quite well, and I never felt stifled. The hood doesn't bounce and I'm glad to see cinches for both the hood and waist. Since it's so deceptively warm I wouldn't wear this above 50 degrees, but I tend to warm up quickly. I can't comment on the waterproofing since we've hit the dry season here in CA.
I had to knock a star off due to tendency of the front zipper to stick and also the tight chest fit. A L was much too tight though the fit otherwise was fine. The XL fits better in the chest but is too loose on the sides for my liking--I have to *really* cinch in the waist, which causes a weird bulge in the bottom front. This is probably more due to my weird proportions though, I'm tall and lanky but top heavy (H cup). This probably won't be an issue if you have a more "normal" build. Ended up keeping the XL despite the odd sizing as layering during the colder months may fix some of the proportioning, whereas I feared the L would wear too quickly in the front. Love the jacket otherwise.

I never ran in jackets because they were always too bulky or heavy, but this is truly perfect. This is the only jacket I've found where the sleeves are long enough, and it's just the right amount of warm, whether hiking or running. I was concerned that the hood would bounce when not in use, but it doesn't. Great all-around jacket!

This is very stylish while being very practicle there is nothing I do not like about this light weight jacket It will get a lot of use on the trails as a back up jacket folds up into own pocket so very compact will def buy more !

Such a great jacket. It is so lightweight that I did not think it would be that warm. Was I wrong! It is amazing how warm this jacket will keep you since it blocks the wind yet is still breathable. It is definitely water resistant/repellent in light rain but it is not water proof in heavier rain. I love how it folds up into a little pouch so it's super easy to pack and always have on hand.
