My wife has been wanting me to get a bright and/or reflective jacket for a couple years now, but I had never seen one that I really wanted to purchase, until this point.
I have only been using this jacket for about two weeks now, and it is fantastic. The first two nights I wore it, it was about 45-50 degrees. I am hot natured and expected to get warm, so I just wore a t-shirt underneath and had the zipper unzipped to about 3/4 of the way down, and by the end of my 3-mile speed run, my arms were dripping sweat. I immediately knew this jacket would be great once the temperatures started tanking here in KY.
The past couple nights it has been about 25-30, and I still only wore a cotton T-shirt underneath (but this time with the Brooks Vapor Dry 2 Glove and a light skull cap), and, once again, by the end of my 3-mile speed run, I was still warm and sweating. I truly think that, with this jacket's great wind-stopping ability, I could put a long-sleeve layer below it, throw on some tights under my shorts, and be warm running in 15-20 degree weather.
Long story short, this jacket does everything it advertises: Definitely windproof, warm, bright, stylish, and water resistant. The only thing I can't really comment on is the hood, as I have yet to unfurl it since I didn't know it existed until I jumped on this site.
Great jacket, don't hesitate to buy.

The jacket looks and fits great and is lightweight.
However, it's not practical to use it in rain because the hood has no drawstring. Wearing it while running means that it falls down every few seconds. Why would a company know for its running gear design a rain gear jacket with no drawstring for the hood? The athlete is forced to wear a weatherproof cap or hat.

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
The quality and weight are exactly as I was told, and it's great to carry along when I hike as layers are necessary, along with visibility... and the jacket is visible!

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
Really lightweight, perfect layer to block wind and rain, and I bought a large so I can layer underneath for winter runs here in Michigan. I haven't tried using the hood yet while I run, but having it unrolled while running is annoying.

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
I have worn the jacket casually as well as running in fair and inclement weather. The jacket proves to be an exceptional wind-blocker, and light rain is unnoticeable. The running jacket that is completely waterproof does not yet exist, but this one comes as close as possible. It will eventually soak in moisture, but the wearer will likely never feel wet. Only damp.
One of the greatest pros is that even when beginning to soak in water, the jacket remains lighter than most dry jackets. When wet, it will cling to bare skin, so a light shirt or even thin baselayer underneath is ideal in the rain.

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
If you weight train and your arms are slightly larger than average, you may want to consider going up a size, as it is snug across the chest and upper arms.

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
I bought this jacket specifically because it has a hood. I wanted something lightweight and versatile, with a stow-away hood to throw up when caught in the rain.
I was surprised at the lack of running jackets on the market with hoods. If not for the hood, why else would you need a running jacket at all?
I have yet to run in the rain with the jacket on, so I cannot comment on the hood. From other reviews, it sounds like there is no drawstring; that could be frustrating if the hood doesn't fit snugly.
Anyway, the main purpose of this review is to state that the jacket feels small! I usually require a large in t-shirts and jackets due to my long arms, and so I purchased this in a large. The sleeves are a little short, and the shoulder width feels as if I am going to hulk the jacket in two when I bend down to touch my toes!
I have since tried the XL on in a store, and even that feels tight across the shoulders.
I will try to exchange this jacket for an XL because of that reason.
I'm 5'11", 170#, slim/fit. My arm length is about 6'0" to 6'1"
Also maybe it could use more reflective strips.
Aside from the sizing issue, and the questionable hood, I really like this jacket and look forward to running through the rain with it. It's fashionable enough for casual wear (not too effeminate looking like many running jackets), and packs away nicely.

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
Was concerned that this would be too light of a running jacket for the cold Michigan winters. I was wrong. One heavy shirt under and I had perfect temperature control for 20 degrees with a fair amount of wind.

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
I run with this jacket over various base layers depending on the temperature. I love the light weight and it is surprisingly warm and water resistant. My only complaint is I wish it had more pockets so I could store more things for my long runs.

Comments about LSD Lite Jacket II:
I have last year's version. Before this jacket I just got wet in the rain as I hate overheating; this is the first rain jacket I've tolerated (30+ years, 20-40 miles/week). It's worked from 20s-50s so far (warmer than that, don't need a jacket anyway).
