I'm a girl with thighs. Shorts of every kind have been my enemy for as long as I can remember, because they all ride up within the first five steps. I fuss with them my entire run, or chafe terribly. Finally, I have found a pair of shorts that stay put. The grippy hem is absolutely genius!

I like the elastic in the leg but they sit way to high on the waist and are not flattering in a sports bra and shorts. They need a thick double-sided waiste band that can be folded over to sit lower on the waist. Great quality short, however.

I was in a bit of a bind trying to find good, affordable running shorts for my first half marathon. I'd been training in long running tights all winter and the weekend of the half was the first warm weekend so I needed running shorts and quick! I took a chance on these shorts since I knew I would only have minimum time to try them out before the half and I made the right choice trusting Brooks. I wouldn't have picked anything else to wear although I got some very minor chaffing from the elastic band. More importantly, everything stayed in place, I didn't have to worry about the cloth sliding around too much thanks to the rubber lining on the inside of the leg. These were fantastic!

I love the tight short style but always hated the fact that the legs "ride up" during my runs. These shorts are amazing!! They stay in place during my run and I never have deal with them ridding up and feeling uncomfortable. I will definitely be purchasing more shorts like these.

65 yrs old, getting back to running after 30 plus years. Compression shorts provide great support to hams,glutes, quads. I'll probably wear them under long pants when really cold weather arrives.

I love these shorts. They are just the right length and do not ride up. My issue is it looks as if they have been discontinued. I can't find my size anywhere! I don't like the wide waistband of the new model, plus the new ones appear to be an inch longer. Man, seems like every time I find something I love, they get replaced! Please bring these back!!!

When these arrived in the mail and I tried them on, I didn't want to take them off. The leg grippers take a couple adjustments to get right, but once you have them in a comfy place they don't move at all. Just the right tightness for me--5'8", 135-140, somewhat muscular thighs, size small--without too much muffin top (some is unavoidable since the waistband isn't particularly thick, but it's all good with a looser shirt). I want to buy a lot more of these shorts; they're about to become my go-to running shorts.

These are really well-made shorts. They have rubber grips on the leg opening to keep the shorts from riding up. Great for a run or even a casual bike ride. I highly recommend these shorts. Very attractive on.
