Have had three pairs of these over the past year. Great fitting and performing shorts, butttttttt all of my pairs (of this model) gradually bit the dust from the inseam coming apart. All of my other pairs of brooks half-tights have lasted through years of abuse.

These shorts are great to use in competition. As a track runner I wear these in every meet. The only thing to look for is the sizing is a little small. I used the measurement table on the website and it said I would fit extra small. I ordered a small though so it wasn't so tight but they felt like extra small when I put them on. I advise you to go one or two sizes up! Also, these shorts really show what you have (guys know what I mean) so make sure you're ok with that. Overall they're great!

I love these shorts.
I think they are great because you can wear them under your work clothes and, once you put in your time at the salt mines, you can slip off your pants, hop into your runners, and go for miles.
They are also quite comfortable and durable. There is no chafing and wear-and-tear is nonexistent after a year of running in them. I think they will last for many more years and I intend to run my first marathon in them.
My only complaint, and it is not the shorts' fault, is that I feel a little insecure in them. I feel like people are staring at my posterior because these shorts definitely accent what you have. So, if you are uncomfortable with your body, you may want to go for something baggier.
On a happier note, my girlfriend loves running behind me when I wear these shorts - I still don't know why.

I run ultras and marathons and needed to find a short that didn't chafe on the really long runs. I tried on some crazy expensive compression shorts from other manufacturers but couldn't justify spending so much. I tried these instead and love them! I just ran two marathons in one weekend in these shorts and I had no chafing or discomfort of any kind. If they can handle back-to-back marathons they can handle anything!
