I really needed shorts for my half marathon. I had always worn tights that go to the knee or calf because I *abhore* when my shorts ride up. I also needed shorts that had a back pocket because I ran a race with a hip pack and thought it the most annoying thing. I WORSHIP these shorts. They never ride up. The back pocket comfortably fit my gels, my house key, and money for the bus to get home. I am going to order a million of these!!!

I have large thighs and they tend to rub when I run. So, I needed something I could wear alone or underneath shorts. These are perfect. I love them. They do not ride up and are comfortable in the waist. They conceal the belly as well. Love, love, love them. Will buy another pair soon.

These shorts are so awesome! I'm training for a half marathon and needed something that wouldn't ride up and cause chafing. These completely fit the bill. They are long enough to where I don't feel exposed and the sticky band on the inside of the leg keeps the shorts in place. Also, the zip pocket is great for carrying my keys. I wish I had 10 more where these came from. Way to go Brooks!

I'm a runner and I'm always frustrated with how hard it is to find shorts that have longer than a 2"-3" inseam. These shorts are fantastic! Not only the length but the combo of a drawstring tie and grippers on the legs make this pair a super buy.

I never write reviews but I had to with these because they are literally PERFECT! Everything I was looking for in running shorts they are! They don't ride up during runs, they have a large comfortable waistband, a great pocket at the back and they don't cause camel toes. They are perfect!! I love them and I'm buying more right now :-)

I am a runner and have always had a preference for "bike short" style shorts both to avoid chafing on the inner thighs and to avoid shorts riding up. I think these are about the best pair I have ever had. The waist is looser than on many pairs -- they stay up but don't cause an instant muffin top. The grippers on the bottom of the legs definitely keep them in place. And these shorts are a nice mid-length -- not all the way to the knee, but also long enough to provide some modesty. Overall, they are flattering and functional.
