For me these are the best running shorts I have come across! They allow perfect coverage and movement at the same time, which is hard to find when you're taller and worried about shorts being too short. I am about 5'8" and the medium are a comfortable fit. They are also very breathable in the hot, humid weather of Florida. I am buying two more pairs because of how amazing these are!

I am a medium in all Brooks shorts and this was no exception. I have 5 different types of shorts and 3 skorts. I have them ranked in order of outdoor weather conditions and the HVAC Synergy Short are the ones that can perform when the heat (90F+) and humidity is out of control. These are the only ones that will dry (provided I stop sweating). The fabric is not stretchy like the other shorts, but a thin, light, papery feel. I have 2 pairs in black. I usually save the colorful items for tops because I do sweat so much.

These shorts are PERFECT. I was surprised at just how light, dry and comfortable they were. I ran in them yesterday, a 12 mile run around 75 degrees....and well I am back on the site today to purchase a few more....even in the colors I already own.

I live on the Gulf Coast. The HVAC shorst are the only ones I can wear on long runs that aren't completely drenched at the end. They also have a loose, nice fit that never gets old. My GO-TO shorts for long runs! :)
