I wear these all the time in the hot florida weather and they don't get heavy from sweat nor is the sweat obvious to an outsider. They are a loose fit which is a nice change since I tend to be built bigger in the thighs with a narrow waist. They don't ride up. I can wear these shorts to run a 10k (I did actually) or to spinning class, out on the trail, or walking around the shopping center. The wide waistband means there's never a muffin top effect and the no-drawstring means I don't have to worry about tightening or anything becoming untied in a run. I wish they had more colors.

I bought this on-line without trying them on first. Mistake. I would not have purchased had I tried them on, because they have a very strange fit: too low-cut & too short on the one hand, but strangely baggy in the front near the top of the crotch on the other. I am slim & never have a "muffin top" in any other clothes, but these shorts make me look a little chubby, with a small muffin top. Ugh! I attribute this to the very short inseam & low cut: they stop about 2 inches below my belly button. They are very short -- perhaps too short; we shall see. Also, I have a little bit of a booty, and the back of the shorts pull and stretch in an unflattering way, making my hips & the junk in my trunk look much bigger than they truly are. The interior undies are small and feel constricting. I like that in general, the profile is narrow and slim, in contrast to the most recent Nike tempo shorts I have purchased which resemble diapers. I was excited about these Glycerin shorts, but sadly they are very unflattering. For size comparison: I am usually a size 0-4 in street clothes, depending on brand; wear a S in the Nike Tempo & an XS in the Athleta Hana short. I ordered a pair of S in the Glycerin. I don't think going up a size would help, because this would probably make them too baggy. Overall: I give these shorts a resounding UGH.

These were very comfortable, but not as flattering as I had hoped they would be. The 2-in-1 Glycerin shorts are much better.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I am very picky about my running shorts. I usually prefer the old school split leg shorts because I want great movement and don't want to feel restricted. I wanted something cuter but still very functional. I love how these shorts fit low on the waist and are short to allow for a nice range of movement. The have a nice hip pocket and built in liner.
I usually wear a size small (5'6", 132) but the small was too tight. The medium size is a great fit.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
The shorts are cute and fit well but the underwear ride up and the material on the outer is this enough that you see the band of the inner undies-just not attractive and a bit annoying.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I wore these shorts to run throughout my pregnancy. The waist band is rather stretchy (I kept it under my belly) and the shorts are not as tight as other running shorts. They are slightly too short for how they fit, but otherwise are a fantastic short.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I am 5'3'' and 128# I an hour-glass shaped. I have a hard time buying running shorts because they always ride up and bunch in between my legs, which leads to chafing. (Yes, even with body glide! )This pair of shorts did not! I love them. I am ordering 2 more!
They are comfortable and allow unrestricted movement. Another pro is that they have a waist that does not create a "muffin top" appearance. There is also no bunching in between the legs. The pocket in the rear is nice and fits my keys.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I am not a small runner. I have a hard time finding clothes that fit me well and don't chaffe. I do long distance running and usually have some roll or extra cushion for my clothes to rub, but not these!!!!! If you don't look like a model these are great shorts for you. Light weight and amazing for long runs. Not tight around the butt or legs so I'm comfortable. They are short but not shorter than other running shorts. I'm kinda short so not an issue I worry about. Any woman that has problem areas in the stomach, butt or thighs needs to buy these!!!

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I have worn many shorts in my 14 years of running but this is probably the best pair yet. I've had shorts that 'ride up' before and these sit just below the waist and stay put. They're light, breathable, and did I mention comfortable?
They don't have an inner pocket for a key like most traditional shorts do...and I actually appreciate this because I've lost keys going to the bathroom with those small inner pockets. This short just has a right side pocket which is a large enough size for a key and credit card, or cash, or a gel. You're not going to carry a ton with these shorts but I feel that items I place in the pocket are much more secure (sown flap, no velcro) than in many other pocket configurations I've used before.
I give these shorts a 10/10 if you're wanting a "low rise" short that stays put, is comfortable/moves with you, and has 1 small, secure pocket. It fits true to size in my experience.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
These shorts have a great and flattering fit. They are not too short, but also are not too long. They fit very true to size with just the right amount of fit they are not too baggy nor too tight. Perfect for a variety of sports and exercises.

Most comfortable running shorts I've ever worn. Love the waistband, the length, and the lightweight feel. I will probably get rid of all my other shorts and keep buying these!
