I wear these all the time in the hot florida weather and they don't get heavy from sweat nor is the sweat obvious to an outsider. They are a loose fit which is a nice change since I tend to be built bigger in the thighs with a narrow waist. They don't ride up. I can wear these shorts to run a 10k (I did actually) or to spinning class, out on the trail, or walking around the shopping center. The wide waistband means there's never a muffin top effect and the no-drawstring means I don't have to worry about tightening or anything becoming untied in a run. I wish they had more colors.

I bought this on-line without trying them on first. Mistake. I would not have purchased had I tried them on, because they have a very strange fit: too low-cut & too short on the one hand, but strangely baggy in the front near the top of the crotch on the other. I am slim & never have a "muffin top" in any other clothes, but these shorts make me look a little chubby, with a small muffin top. Ugh! I attribute this to the very short inseam & low cut: they stop about 2 inches below my belly button. They are very short -- perhaps too short; we shall see. Also, I have a little bit of a booty, and the back of the shorts pull and stretch in an unflattering way, making my hips & the junk in my trunk look much bigger than they truly are. The interior undies are small and feel constricting. I like that in general, the profile is narrow and slim, in contrast to the most recent Nike tempo shorts I have purchased which resemble diapers. I was excited about these Glycerin shorts, but sadly they are very unflattering. For size comparison: I am usually a size 0-4 in street clothes, depending on brand; wear a S in the Nike Tempo & an XS in the Athleta Hana short. I ordered a pair of S in the Glycerin. I don't think going up a size would help, because this would probably make them too baggy. Overall: I give these shorts a resounding UGH.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I ordered these in 1 color and then bought 2 more. They are my favorite right now for running and would be perfect if the pocket was a tad larger and had a zip closure so I don't have to make a choice between keys or gel.
I'm 5'8", 130 lbs, athletic build, and normally wear a size 4/5 and purchased the small, which fit perfectly.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
These shorts have a comfortable, moveable fabric, so they don't feel constricting. They also don't ride up which is nice, but they are a bit short. I run marathons and am a 5'7" 145lb woman. I wear these for my shorter (<5 mile) runs. Anything longer than that and I get chaffing in my thigh area. If your thighs don't touch at all, these are great shorts. The pocket also does not have a zipper, so I am not comfortable putting much in it for fear that it may fall out. I would say that these shorts are good for short runs and general casual wear.

These shorts are perfect for running. They are a tad shorter than some of the shorts I typically wear but they look good and feel great. Very lightweight and moveable.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
These shorts feel good on and don't have that extra fabric in the hips that some shorts have. But they are too short.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I bought my first pair of Glycerin shorts from the website a year ago & have worn them non-stop since then. I even wear them in the winter (with tights under them). They've gone through the wash a minimum of 200 times this last year and still look & feel like new. They ride just above my hips-right where they should be and have the perfect inseam length. I really love the back pocket-perfect for a couple GU's and my ID. I finally bought a 2nd pair at the Chicago expo & wore them for the marathon yesterday. LOVE them! Now I just need a few more colors to round out my running wardrobe!

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I have a hard time finding shorts that I think fit well and look good. I do not like very loose shorts for working out so these are perfect. They are tight enough but not as tight as compression shorts so they offer a nice alternative. These shorts are comfortable, fit well, and look great.
I am not a runner so I use these for any general working out or sports. I wear them hiking, to the gym, to the beach, even for yoga and just lounging. I like the small pocket on the back. The built in underwear is not a feature I have ever cared for on any item, but it does not bother me. I have these in a bright blue color and love that they come in other colors besides black.
I will buy this item again.

Comments about Glycerin Short:
I am 41 years old and have been looking for a short not too short but yet still fits nicely and comfortable. These shorts are perfect. Can hardly tell you have them on. I have run for 31 years and these shorts rock! I have black and grey! They do not ride up between your legs.
