Have Ghost 5, which is a great shoe, but lets too much of the Wisconsin winter in. GTX fits the same. Gore-tex is awesome and no wet, frozen toes on longer runs. I usually wear a 9.5 but in Brooks I wear a 10 and its recommended to size up 1/2 to 1 size. Try out at local shoe store so you know size before ordering.

I love the ghost 5 but the forefoot fits too small in the same size as the non Gortex version. If I go up a half then the heel is loose..I love the ghost5 but please make the fit the same. I have seen this in other shoes with gortex from other companies.

I use these as every day wear. As I was told when I purchased them. I bought them in June of 2012 an by September they were wearing extremely bad. the tread is worn flat no cushion at all, the back arch wore down. I am very very dissatisfied with these shoes For the price I paid for them they should have worn completely different. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BROOKS shoes!!!

I Love these shoes. Right out of the box I did a 10 mile run. WOW. Great feeling on my feet. These are very comfortable. I am replacing my Ghost 4 shoes due to use. I got these because winter is coming and I can run in the wet streets. I do recomend these.
