Read Rave ReviewsLove your Brooks shoes or apparel? Have a rave review to share? Send it to us at editor@brooksrunning.com, or become a Brooks Fan on Facebook!Your products are excellent! I have been consistently happy with your shoes and apparel since I started wearing Brooks products three years ago. I just picked up a new pair of Cascadia 3's and have to say they're great. The Editor's Choice awards from Runner's World and Trail Runner Magazine are well deserved. The Cascadia 2 was my favorite trail shoe until now. The MoGo midsole and improved outsole design are great updates, and they fit perfect. As for apparel, the side-holster pockets in my Sherpa Shorts are the best. I can easily carry four to six gels without even noticing they're there. No bouncing and they're easy to reach. Additionally, your efforts to provide environmentally friendly products and support of the Hanson-Brooks ODP strongly encourage me to support Brooks. Thanks, - Carson in Grand Junction, CO, who loves his Cascadia 3's I’ve run in the Brooks Racer ST 3 since last year (prior to that the Racer ST 2). So far to date, I’ve PR’ed in the ½ Ironman distance (4:30) and the Ironman distance (9:59) in this shoe. I’ve run in the ST 2 the season prior and then forgot my shoes when I went out of town. I had to swing by a running shoe store. I told them I wanted another pair of the ST 2’s when they talked me into the Racer ST 3. The huge improvement is the lightweight material on the top that cuts a fair amount of weight compared to the older shoes. However, the great thing is that the last is the same. It has the cushioning of a regular training shoe but is light enough for serious racing. I wear the shoe in regular training with no ill effects, which is significant since I weigh 170 pounds. I am a neutral runner and the shoe does have a medial post. I have had no problems with it, but I’ve known some neutral runners that are bothered by it. I have three pair of the ST shoes that I rotate through. One of these sets I reserve for special occasions when I have serious racing to do, these are the ones that I use for posting PR’s. - Spence from AL, who loves his Racer ST 3's (and his Racer ST 2's) I run. It's what I do. Yet, for years it hurt to do so. Shin splints, lower back pain, ITBS, and a mild SI joint dysfunction were the price I paid for my love of running. Until now. I purchased my first pair of Radius 6 nearly a year ago and have been hooked ever since. The shoe not only fits my foot better than any shoe I've worn but the injuries I've always thought of as a part of my obsession are all but forgotten memories. Distant objects I've left out on the streets. Three pairs of Radius and 1500 miles later my legs feel almost young again. I've been running more often and longer each and every month since using the Radius 6. My love of running, and my dedication, could not be questioned and now you can add pleasure to the list of reasons I run. Thanks to my Radius 6. My next purchase, and one I am looking forward too, is the Radius 7 with MoGo. I look forward to many miles and many years of running pleasure in Brooks shoes. Thanks again for the pain-free miles. - Brian in Appleton, WI, who can't wait to buy the Radius 7 I had to write and compliment your design team on creating a superior product with the new Brooks Run Skort. I have tried almost every running skirt out there: Some I like, some I give away. I had become pretty devoted to a brand of skirt, then I tried the Brooks Run Skort in fabulous Mango. Wow! Nice fit, functional (two pockets for storing stuff), great lightweight fabric, and very flattering. So far I have run two trail ultras in my Brooks Run Skort and the Boston Marathon. In fact, after the marathon, I simple washed my skort in the sink and it was ready for sightseeing the next day! - Marilou, from Olympia, WA, who loves her Brooks Run Skort THANK YOU BROOKS! Hi - I'm an avid wearer of the Epiphany Stretch Short. They are my absolute favorite pair of shorts to run in. I bought one pair and just loved how comfortable they are, how durable they are, and the mini pocket inside which is PERFECT for my car key or a Gu while I run! Since I liked this pair of shorts so much, I started to buy more. For the past year, every time I was at a running store and have found these shorts there I have bought a new pair! They are great shorts and I love Brooks products! Again, thank you for making my weekly miles more comfortable! - Leann, a "sincerely satisfied customer!", who lives and runs in Houston, TX I love the idea that you support the local running stores by working with them to provide the products. - John from Texas, received his order for a Podium Long Sleeve from a specialty running shop.I wanted to start by saying that your shoe company has always been on my "gotta try those shoes" list. I am a 5'10" 225 lb. male running enthusiast. I run about 12 to 15 miles per week in 3-mile intervals. It isn't easy for a "heavy" guy like me to find a DURABLE, comfortable and technology laden shoe that I can feel comfortable spending some hard earned cash on. I have purchased quite a few of your competitors' shoes such as Adidas Supernova and Nike Air Max 360 but had yet to run in a shoe that was such a joy to run in as the Glycerin® 6. I purchased a pair of the Glycerin® 6 in green a few months ago and let me just say how impressed I was with the appearance of shoes right out of the box. I know it sounds silly but to see all of the technology in a shoe that I can wear, as opposed to only one that a LIGHTER runner can wear, is a major factor for me. The cushioning that this shoe provides is excellent and it seems to work harder as the miles increase. The shoe also appears wider and provides a stability factor that other shoes I have used don't match. These shoes are light and yet feel very sturdy, without giving up its comfort. These shoes always put a smile on my face when I run and they have made me realize that Brooks takes their customers' concerns seriously. There were three choices of shoes that I had considered buying and all three were placed on my foot to try on: Brooks Glycerin® 6, Asics Gel Nimbus 9, and the Mizuno Wave Runner 10. All of these shoes were recommended every single time I asked for my specific type of running shoe preferences. Hands down, for me at least, the Brooks Glycerin® 6 was the best shoe for my running. From this point on, until proven otherwise, I will be a loyal Brooks customer and fan... Run, Done, Won... Brooks! -- from a brooksrunning.com visitor who runs happy in the Glycerin® 6 Dear Brooksrunning:Santa brought me the new NightLife Jacket for Christmas. It is the best jacket I've ever owned. I do a lot of early morning running and not only does it provide great protection from the elements and breathe exceptionally well, it gives me the piece of mind that I am visible to motorists. I have since gone out and purchased two more NightLife tops. I convinced my other two early morning running partners to get them, now we look like the bright yellow brigade!!! -- Chris, a brooksrunning.com visitor who loves NightLife in Bethlehem, PA I just got my Cascadia 3's in outrageous red and went out for a run on the trails. You guys really outdid yourselves. The Cascadias feel great right out of your new, environmentally friendly box. It was wet today and I could feel the traction on grass, dirt, and oily wet pavement. The fit is perfect, stable, and comfortable. I can't wait to see how they feel in my next 24-hour run! Thanks for creating such a great shoe.-- Cameron, a brooksrunning.com visitor who runs in Cascadia 3's. Quite simply the very best running short (for any distance) I have ever had. I went back and bought a second pair after the first run in these.... If more people knew just how comfortable and light these were, you wouldn't be able to make enough of them.-- A Brooks customer in love with the Element Short Dear Brooks:I am thrilled to tell you how happy I am with my shoes. My doctor told me that I am an overpronator. I didn't realize this was why walking long distances down asphalt or concrete was so extremely painful. I followed his advice to invest in a shoe especially for overpronators. I bought a less expensive pair and they helped some. I decided to take a gamble on a more high tech pair. I wore them for the first time last weekend on a 2 to 3 mile walk on a concrete sidewalk. It was the first time in around 15 years that I have been able to do so without shin pain. I felt so liberated. You have won a customer. -- A customer from Roanoke Rapids, NC who bought the Trance™ 7 Dear Brooksrunning,
I want to compliment your company and shoe designers/engineers. I ran for many years from the mid-Seventies to the late Eighties (5km,10km,15km), then it was confirmed that I had some degenerative discs in my spine. I was advised to stop running and I complied. I took up cycling and swimming and have done fairly well but I was still missing my running especially since I wanted to get back into triathlons.
The back has remained stable over the years but my left forefoot developed osteoarthritis and running occasionally in a pair of non-Brooks was very painful even for short distances (1~3 miles) and I was just about to give up on the running idea. I'm now 54 years of age.
A few months ago a friend, who is my cycling/swimming training partner, who is a very good/strong runner told me how pleased she was with her Brooks running shoes. I went to a local shoe retailer (Finish Line) and decided to give them a try. WOW!! I'm very glad I did !! I can now run pain-free and I'm up to 5+ miles and improving steadily. I've had to wear custom orthotics of various designs since 1977. . .my full-length custom orthotics fit perfectly in my Radius 7's and my running has become fun and enjoyable for the first time in nearly 17 years!! Please don't change a thing with these Radius 7's--they are awesome!
Thank you Brooksrunning very much for enabling me to get back on the running road!! -- Steve R. in Harrison,OH bought the Radius 7 Most jackets are dark colors and the illumination is not very good. The Nightlife Jacket has awesome illumination. The yellow and black is a cool combo of colors and is great to wear day or night.- Brian S. from Godfrey, IL bought the NightLife Jacket |
