Comments about Essential SS:
I was exited to see a Vneck running shirt, but when I recieved the item the fit and craftmanship was not as expected. The shirt fit like a generic large cotton shirt, and the V neck looked and wore more like a sloppy circle neck. Please go back and re-design the cut of this shirt to be sharp instead of sloppy. I was really hopping for more than another "small" sized shirt made to fit enlarging americans, this could be a great shirt, but currently it falls short in design, not materials or performance.

Comments about Essential SS:
This is a great shirt for working out and also casual use. The fabric is really soft and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the colors on the website are not accurate. The grey color looks like a dark grey but it really much lighter.

Comments about Essential SS:
OK, I own 6 different EZ Run T's and this shirt has beat them all and become my new favorite shirt. It's the same awesome material the EZ run shirts are made out of and it fits me great.
In my experience It's hit or miss on sizing with Brooks. Most of us fluctuate with each years production. I believe these are made larger since I usually wear XXL or XL and I'm wearing this in a L. With that said I have some Brooks EZ T's in XL that fit tight and others that I'm swimming in. Anyways this seems to be the year we admit we're the fattest culture on the planet so the clothes are a little bigger.
My favorite thing about this shirt is the extreme amount of taper. I have trouble finding shirts that accommodate my shoulders and and arms without leaving me swimming in the waist area. It probably won't be my favorite shirt for weight training because it fits so well it might begin to restrict movement after a while if I'm working anything upper body. I love it for running and casual wear though.
It's hands down my new favorite shirt and I'm ordering it in all three colors.
The only con I see is it has the same brooks iron on label on the chest. Logo looks great but I'm a guy and I've got a bunch of these peeling off of my numerous LS Equilibrium shirts already from drying them too hot or long. I'm gonna have to remember I like this shirt and try and baby it when it's time to throw it in the dryer.
By definition I'm an amateur bodybuilder. The amount of taper it has is my favorite part of the shirt. That said, if you're on the pot bellied side trying to get in shape I would hold off on trying to wear this shirt til you're nice and lean.

Comments about Essential SS:
I am a student athlete so I have lifted, ran, and hung out in this shirt. It's great for wearing all day; going to school, running a couple miles at practice, and still stylin on the way home. The only issue I have had is that it fits a little weird with a backpack on.
