yellow is borderline fluorescent!

I was hesitant to order this top because I couldn't tell what color it really was from the pic online. In the photo, the color appeared light/pastel, but in the thumbnail color swatch, the yellow looked bright/bold. I called Brooks to find out; the CSR told me it was a light yellow, so I went ahead an purchased.
When it arrived, I was disappointed. The yellow is light, but it's also a bit fluorescent--not really what I had in mind. The top was on sale, though, and the other colors I was interested in had sold out by the time I received mine. That being the case, I decided to keep it; I do think, given the combination of the reflective logo and the color, that it's pretty visible around dusk, which is a plus for me.
As far as the fit/performance of the top goes, I was pleased, with one tiny exception. When I put my thumbs in the holes, there's a bit more pull on the sleeves than I would like. I thought about returning and sizing up, but the rest of the dimensions seem perfect for me (although I am on the short side). I've worn this top over another longsleeve, as well as over a tank, and I had no problems with chafing. The fabric is amazingly soft.

I was looking for a good l/s option to wear for running in cooler weather. (I'm a runner, finishing up training for my third half-marathon.)
As it turns out, I haven't tried it out because I'm not happy with the length. While the fabric, design and style are great, it's about 2-3 inches shorter than I'd like. I wanted something that would cover my hips and behind a little better, especially now that it's running tight weather. Even wearing a longer shirt under it just looks awkward--it hits about 1-2 inches below my belly button. So, I'm sad to say that I'll be returning this!

I really like this shirt. It was comfortable over a shortsleeve t-shirt to run in 40 degree weather. It wish it was a little longer, but I have no real complaints.

Absolutley loved the felling of this long sleeve quarter zip. I can wear another top underneath and it's very breathable. Definitely good to wear for long runs when its 30 degrees outside.

I wear this shirt while running on cool days. It's lightweight with just the right amount of coverage on 40-55 degree mornings. On colder mornings, I wear a base layer underneath and still have free range or motion. Love everything about it. I have three of them. :-)

This top is a rare combination: extremely flattering and completely functional. I wear it as a shirt for running in 40-60 degree weather. I also wear it on my way to and from the gym. It's shaped enough to look lean, instead of frumpy, but still loose enough to not constrict movement. I now own two of these.

I live in Ohio - so I need clothes that span a variety of temperatures. This piece is great - by itself in the fall, or with another tech shirt underneath for colder weather, and finally, throw a nightlife vest on top for running in the dark. High quality, comfortable and well worth every penny.

I LOVE this shirt. I'm 5'10" and was afraid that it would ride too short in the body and the arms. It doesn't. It fits great! The length sits right at my hips and the arms are just long enough where I don't feel the thumb holes are the only thing pulling down the sleeves. I went to buy another one but they weren't on sale anymore.
