Comments about Essential Run Jacket II:
I use this product for runnning in the Midwest, where it is frequently cold, drizzly, or windy. This jacket is great at keeping the wind out and the rain off. I use it for winter running with a layer underneath and have stayed warm. I am also rather tall (5'10") and the sleeves are long enough, which I really appreciate.

Comments about Essential Run Jacket II:
I was looking for a lightweight yet warm coat to wear over under-layers for running in the winter. It's a little thin so spring and late fall wear is probably best for this coat but I will use it anyways this winter. The only flaw is when I got warm and unzipped the collar and folded it over I kept getting hit in the face with the one side of the collar - other than that I like the coat and would recommend it!

Comments about Essential Run Jacket II:
I bought this jacket for the pockets, color & weather protection. The first time I wore it there was a January breeze. My arms get cold easily. I wore a short sleeve Brooks tech shirt underneath & my arms stayed warm. I really like the dedicated waterproof phone pocket on the inside. The pocket holds my iphone perfectly. The 2 outside zipper pockets are big enough to hold a real set of car keys, cash and nutrition. The jacket is definitely a good investment, it's lightweight but warm. I haven't had the chance to test in the rain yet.

Comments about Essential Run Jacket II:
I wore this jacket for the first time yesterday in a steady, light rain (and slight wind). Temps were in the low 30's so I layered underneath, but after over an hour I was still dry and warm, despite the conditions. I LOVE THIS jacket! An immediate favorite. The only con is that once I tucked my device into the handy media pocket, I could not get to it during the run (to change songs, adjust volume) without unzipping. A small price to pay for an amazing jacket!

I wear this jacket for running. Perfect for temps in the teens and 20s with a base layer. Keeps out the cold wind. Back vent keeps me from overheating. Great fit.
