Comments about Cascadia III Short:
I received these shorts and quickly discovered that these shorts had a utility pocket that came with a free hole in the lining. This pocket of course was the only one that allowed me to secure keys, id, etc. Needless to say I was slightly peeved but kept them as I didn't want to deal with shipping. Overall the shorts themselves are decent and would probably work best during the cooler months as they are a bit more tightly woven, thus making them less breathable. Bottom line, the hole and the meshing should be constructed out of a more durable material and this short would be dead on.

The sturdy material makes these great coaching or walk-around shorts, but they also have enough stretch to allow freedom of movement if used for running.

Comments about Cascadia III Short:
I wear the Cascadia shorts for running as well as out and about. The material is heavier than a standard running short but just as breathable and comfortable.
I have find these to be my summer "go to" shorts!

Comments about Cascadia III Short:
I wore these during the six day, 250-km Atacama Crossing foot race in Chile. They are the perfect hybrid of a running short (lightweight, breathable, lining) and a functional hiking short (pockets, more durable than "regular" running shorts).
I was very impressed by the durability and functionality.
Great for casual wear too.
