Just what ive been waiting on!! Thanks Brooks!!! I have been in so many shoes for pronation and one that will fit orthotics, and these have the ultimate in cushioning!!!!! I had knee surgery on both knee's and these take the impact right out of every step!! Being that I am a overpronator, I have always owned Brooks. The best IMO for my issues. But, this generation of Trance is a mixed bag. The technology is without a doubt very capable. The pronation support is as good as it gets. But, this shoe is way too tight and the toe box is incredibly cramped. I think this is in large part because of the upper shoe materials used that don't want to give and a design that most likely wanted to achieve an appearance more than it wanted to achieve a functional fit.
I kept these in hopes they will start to loosen but next time, I think you should make sure the toe box isn't so tight. Especially given this is a pronation/stability shoe. Cramping the toe box defeats the natural action of the forward foot and for a pronator,to avoid injury, this is very important.

Comments about Trance 10:
First time with the Trance. Usually use Adrenaline. Comfortable while running, but designs on the webbing caused a blister on my pinky toe after a couple miles. Will try to cover inside spot with duct tape for now, but will stick with the Adrenalines in the future.

Comments about Trance 10:
Long time Brooks customer - this is a good motion control sneaker - durable with good support - pros - light weight without the dorky look of other motion control sneakers. I noticed this sneaker has a higher arch support than their other MC sneakers such as the Addiction/Adrenaline. takes a little getting used to. Worth the price better than the rest.

There is a bad stitch inside the right sneaker that bothers and scratches my pinky toe.

Comments about Trance 10:
I use these as my main training shoe, game day shoe, as well as main sneaker I wear if I'm going on a long day trip where I will be walking around. They are very comfortable and are still well treaded after 450+ miles this year. I've worn plenty of swoosh running shoes prior which gave me knee, shin splint, and foot issues. My knees have not bothered me as they have in the past. I did notice sore shin splints my first week training with them but it subsided. This shoe is a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion - I would go a second ride in these, probably in black - I have the Blue, white & silver/

Tried running with these shoes, but the impact on the heels and my spine/skeletal structure was not endurable. Started experiencing pain in back, knees and other joints.

Comments about Trance 10:
I use to run 40-60km (24-37miles) per week on average, pace is mainly rather slow. With these shoes on, I don't have to think them all the time, I can just run. I completed my first marathon with Trance 10's. Only problem is that in my use they do not last very long, my first pair was rather worn out after 1000 km. Anyway, after I almost broke my legs with other shoes I bought Trance10's again, as they fit so well for me.

Comments about Trance 10:
First time in 16 years that I changed shoe type. This is a great shoe to walk in - I am over 65 years of age and needed a good shoe. I was always using the Nike Structure Triax for years. They don't even compare - the Trance 10 blew then away!!!!!!
