Chrissie calls the T7 "an amazing shoe!" She was rocking a pair when she came from behind on the run leg to win her fourth Ironman World Championship in Kona in 2011.
This incredibly light road-racing shoe is the fastest in the pack, with a new eye-catching upper for fly-by style. The streamlined, asymmetric upper works with the anatomy of the foot to perfectly wrap the arch securely from start to finish.
Available in men's sizes only. For women we suggest ordering 1.5 sizes smaller than what you usually wear. If you're curious, Chrissie wears a 10.
Note: As this shoe is a very lightweight, minimal support racing flat, the vast majority of runners will not find it "enough shoe" for a full marathon. If you have a light frame and a biomechanically efficient stride, however, you may be able to get away with it. We suggest you work up to it in several half marathon-plus races beforehand to see how it works for you before running in it for a full marathon.

Bought this shoe a few months back for my 2011 racing season. In word one, AMAZING! This is by far the lightest, most comfortable racing flat I have ever owned! If you are racing distances from half marathon on down, buy this shoe (Just make sure to get a half size smaller than your everyday training shoes).

i got my t7's at my local running store and right off the bat I enjoyed every bit of them besides the side lacing which I quickly grew a custom to.they were my trainers for the track season and they were working fine. like all of my running shoes they got dirty, and sometimes very smelly which as a 15 year old boy i had no problem with. but then at one of my track meets my club coach whom im very close to told me about some cases of runners buying the T7's and only lasting them a month, which at first i didnt believe. then track season ended and i started running my longer distances training for the upcoming xc season and i soon figured out that what my coach said was true. and I felt pushed away from the T7 and to another shoe. i might of gotten a bad batch or something but id like to figure out what went wrong.

Comments about T7 Racer:
Brooks keeps making them uglier each year but they are a great road race shoe - light , with enough cushion to survive the pounding . I only wear for racing from marathons on down . I would recommend better cushioned shoes for training and distance like green silence or pure connect .

Comments about T7 Racer:
I'm currently training for half a marathon and got these shoes for that run. I've been training in them for about 2 weeks and they are very comfortable and very light weight. Great pair of shoes and I am very happy with them.

Comments about T7 Racer:
These could be my favorite shoes, ever. Flexible, fast, light weight, look great. Great up to ten mile races, 1/2 marathon tests the limits of its minimal cushioning. While not designed for durability, they've held up great after 100 miles.

Comments about T7 Racer:
I train in these shoes and race in them as well. I've won races in these babies! I tried out another company that was supposedly better overall but was lied too and I bought another pair of these... even though i have 3 already :) They are soo lightweight and great for racing & winning ;) They wear out really quick, I can feel the difference in a month or 2 of using them

Comments about T7 Racer:
Light, fast, responsive - these are my favorite race shoes, ever. I also look forward to speed training days when I have an excuse to wear these fast wear-out shoes. Best up to 10 miles, I just wore them for a half-marathon PR. The lack of cushioning/support began to tell after 10-12 miles, so your body type will determine whether you can use the T7 beyond a 10K or 10M race. With 85 miles, so far, the tread is fine, but they may be losing a small bit of support. The 150 mileage limit looks about right.

Comments about T7 Racer:
I love Brooks. I have the Racer ST 5's for half marathons. I just bought my first pair of T7's for up to 10k. On the treadmill they feel great. I haven't used them outside yet due to the weather.

Comments about T7 Racer:
I began wearing the T7's in June 2011. I made a switch to another shoe in March 2012, as someone convinced me I would not run a Full in these shoes. They were so wrong. After 7 months of agony in another type of shoe that made me feel like I was wearing boats on my feet - I switched back and completed Full's in these shoes. Compared to the Full's I ran in the other shoe (other brand), I felt SO much better in the T7's. I am 5'8", 135 lbs. I could feel the road, so I could adjust my foot strike and my feet were not heavy at the end of a race. I love the T7's, I will not change again.

Comments about T7 Racer:
Great racing shoe. Very comfortable almost feels like part of your foot. My first pair of racing shoes since high school, wish I had bought some years ago. Raced up to 1/2 marathon in them and couldn't be happier. Seem to wear as I would expect for a lightweight racer. Great shoe.
