Men's Ravenna
Combining BioMoGo cushioning with a mild support post, the smart, adaptive Ravenna meets your changing needs. Some runs demand more support than others, so the Ravenna provides just the right amount, when and where you need it. Hardworking feet swell after a long flight or day at work. Extra adjustability in the Ravenna’s upper means more instep variability for a perfect fit, every day. Brilliant.

I was pretty much mortified when I was told the Axiom went the way of the dinosaur. I became steadily more mortified after trying these out. I don't know why the Axiom had to go. I had gone through about five pairs of the Axioms and thought I had finally found that perfect niche shoe. Back to the hunt I suppose. If you're looking for an Axiom replacement, this is far from the feel and fit. Brooks will still have my business in the racing flat department, but I can't say I'll be getting any day-to-day trainers unless I see the Axioms come back I'm afraid.

Comments about Ravenna:
Everything I expected from a running shoe as a recreational user but the elastic pull on the laces has already broken after a few weeks of running maybe 10 miles a week. Very disappointed in the workmanship.

Great shoe. I am going to buy another pair if they seem to last a while for me.

Comments about Ravenna:
Although this is the first of the line of Ravenna's I still find it to be a great shoe. The arch support system is phenomenal. The pronation correction is there without dominating your stride. I found it is better for mid range runs due to the harder crash zone when compared to the Ravenna 2s. I love trained for my first Marathon in these and have since bouagt 2 other pairs. Expect great durability I am on my 3rd pair and not 1 has given up before 500 miles.

Comments about Ravenna:
I thought this shoe would work for me considering the reviews and clearance price. I was looking for something with mild support outside of my normal neutral shoe. Unfortunately this is not a shoe I can introduce during my Marathon training. My foot fights the support and the toebox is way too narrow. Doesn't work for me.

Comments about Ravenna:
Loved the Ravenna right out of the box. First run was a 10 mile run on trails and they were great. My feet are usually very picky and usually takes a week or two to break in shoes but these had no break in period needed for me. Lightweight and comfortable. Feels good on the road, on the trails, and on the track as well. The fit was probably the best fitting shoe for my particular feet for me.

Comments about Ravenna:
Moved from the Axiom and had to go up 1 size to accomodate the toe box area. No half size available unfortunatly. It is a more narrow toe box than the Axiom.

Comments about Ravenna:
I am one my second pair of Brooks now and I haven't found anything that compares at this price. I've bought other shoes that I thought were the right ones and they now grace the back of my closet.I use my own inserts. I'm a 50 mile a week with numerous half and fulls in between.Super light and comfortable.

Comments about Ravenna:
I use these for longer/faster runs. I find that switching between a neutral and stability shoe every day decreases recovery time. Also, I was experiencing shin pain after long runs in neutral (glycerin 8), but that may be because I've just put too many miles on them (close to 300). So keeping glycerins for easy recovery runs and using Revenna's for serious work has proved to be a great combination over past 3 weeks
